I am currently a student and trying to find a job that will fit around my hours at school and will leave me some time to study. Anyway, enough about me. I was just wondering what some of the CC.net members do from day-to-day when they are not visiting the BBS. ------------------
I am a waiter and a student at UT. 43-17 ------------------ "There are two players carrying the Rockets right now. Hakeem and Olajuwon." Isiah Thomas
I'm a student and with sports I don't have time to work. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
I do recruiting for an electronic contract manufacturing company in Sugarland. www.ktecelec.com The rest of the time, I'm doing big pimpin' ------------------ Five to one baby, one and five...no one here gets, out alive.
I install DSL lines in executive bathroom stalls. I post to cc.net as a way to test the lines. What is most interesting about the job is the graffiti these execs write on the walls, which is mainly Board bashing, merger rumors and earnings speculation. I'm bound by contract to not divulge any rumors I may read. And I never do, because the guy before me was canned for posting rumors to stock boards and day-trading from the stalls. I think his trading-cave moniker was popcan. <font size="1"><font color="> [This message has been edited by heypartner (edited November 27, 2000).]
I'm an operator in one of the biggest pollution producers...errrrr....oil refineries on the ship channel. I work shift work, which means I spend 12 hours a day (or night) surfing the net, reading a book, watching tv (broadcast only, dammit!) or sleeping. Oh yeah, I do monitor some equipment, but only if it does not interfere with my CC.net posting. ------------------ Save our children from the TAAS test: TAAS test report card TAAS test fact sheet
I work as a financial advisor for a major brokerage firm in the Greenway area of Houston; walking distance from The Summit. In my spare time, I watch the Rockets and hit on women. ------------------ I got nothing.
I manage a warehouse/transportation company which handles company material for the Union Pacific Railroad. When i`m not watching my beloved Rockets or Dolphins I try to drink heavily and watch infomercials ------------------
Student at A&M. My parents just moved to Dallas which rules out seeing a Rocket's game over the holidays. Aching heart. Fortunately, my other hobby besides sports is smart card technology(programming). This, of course, means free NBA league pass. ------------------
I'm involved w/ a biological study testing human poop shoot strain and coffee. ------------------ Hey Dream, wanna go grab lunch? ..... psyche! -Achebe cuttin' loose during the holy month.
Would you happen to be Frank Black? Mango ------------------ Test Your NBA Trade Ideas 1. Put new topics in the proper forum. Things happening in the rest of the NBA 2. I can see why you'd say that. But no, I'm not Frank Black. Just another person with free TV, I guess. Nuff said about that. F.Y.I. - December's Maxim has a good article by S.Francis. GO ROCKETS! ------------------
Still a student, but soon to be a real-estate appraiser and part-time novelist. ------------------ My dream job is to be a Houston Rockets towel boy.
My wife and I sell vintage jewelry online and around the state at jewelry and antique shows. I also own a small production company/recording studio and do music for radio, tv and film productions as well as sound engineering for small studio projects. I occassionally do a little internet and Macintosh consulting work as well as a few live music gigs and studio sessions on bass guitar now and again. ------------------ Time for a new cause.
I do research for a huge, health-related, national non-profit. I'm also a freelance writer for a local (Austin) paper. All of this gives me plently of time to BBS. ------------------ C-son [This message has been edited by cson (edited November 27, 2000).]

I'm the company computer geek. I maintain the PC's, email, store systems and do minimal network stuff, minimal I say...(that's why we have a regional office!) I do about 4 hours of work and the rest are spent at lunch and on the 'net... hee-hee I also dabble a bit in basic webpage design, graphics and digital photography. You can also find me on game nights, most of the time, in the CC.net chatroom! COME JOIN US! rockHEAD ------------------ *** THIS SPACE FOR LEASE ***
