[ESPN] Warriors in discussions for Baron Davis http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=1998391
apparently for the Expiring contract of Dale Davis.. Looks like it's possible to get value from those, after all.
all I know is either one of those guys would look great on the Rockets. ok maybe just speedy. D-fish makes a ton.
You can get almost anyone with an expiring contract. Everybody seems like they are taking everyone else's crap, PLEASE somebody take some of ours. Spoon for Kidd straight up.
C'mon, Chris, D-Fish/Najera - Mo. Yeah, takes on lots more salary but it's not my money. It's just my team,
Davis is from California, which would help. It's not like he has that much say in the matter anyhow. I'm just speechless. Sacramento takes it hard, and while we had to give up a pick to give away a big expiring contract (Rice), Golden State may be getting an all-star (granted, a recurringly injured one).
If this is true...what kind of 'vision' is there for the W's? Could BD and J-Rich co-exist? his is, even without Davis, a mish-mash of a roster.
yeah outrageous..hey let's try to get garnett All right. I know what to do. Mutombo and Barry for Baron Davis and PJ Brown.
Does Golden State realize that Baron Davis is now the Grant Hill of the NBA. Every season starts with huge hopes, and then he gets injured. The only difference is he's usually out-of-shape, helping to cause the injuries. Of course, if the deal does go down. I would love to see Speedy as a Rocket. He's worth our first round pick for sure.
What da hell...... Gaines for T.J. Ford. (Make better use of the IL) Motay+Ward for Stephon (what is a little extra luxury tax going to do to NY?) Bowen+Cash for Fred Hoiberg (a better shooting "good guy")
Man, the ROCKETS better be on the phones RIGHT now! Rod limped off the court, AB limped off the court, and still no Sura in sight! Plus, is showed tonight how crappy our PG's are right now. Dumb mistake after dumb mistake. Parker was looking like a super star against them tonight.
Whoa ease up fella. I know we've had a tough back to back, but let's not make a terribly shortsighted decision by taking in DFish's monster contract. Speedy for the TE and a 2nd rounder, however would be sweet.
Well put. I am glad we passed on Fisher in the offseason and will be even more pleased if we pass on him now, as well.
