This thread is a spinoff of the Spider Bite thread. Harrisment mentioned that he was missing part of his index finger from a freak pet rabbit attack, and I got to thinking, I'm missing my appendix, 1 cm off of my right collarbone, 2 molars, and I've had a ganglian cyst removed from my right wrist.

What body parts have been removed from you?

Should teeth count? I had 4 permanent teeth removed, but that just doesn't seem like a big deal. I think it should only count if bones or organs are involved.

5 wisdom teeth (yes 5, one was impacted under another. The really scary thing is there was a 6th one above the 5th that was too deep to get to so they left it in... shades of the dark half)

Other than that, nothing missing, no broken bones either...

2 permanent teeth (had to be pulled for braces)
4 wisdom teeth (fortunately all had come in; none were impacted)

I've had a bone and a half (out of 3) removed from my inner ear. I'm not sure which 3, though. Also, my ear canal wall is gone, too. This all stems from a decently-sized cholesteotoma(spelling?) in my ear. That big long word, is just basically a tumor of the inner ear.

I'm missing a chunk of my flesh from my right upper arm. I don't know how it disappeared, it just left almost a year ago. All I have left is a pit where the fatty tissues used to be. I don't even know if I'll ever get it back either. I guess I'll never go sleeveless again. It's a real confidence buster. :(

i'm really not sure. it was too sensitive to check what was goin on for a while...and then when that stage passed...it wasn't really there. i'm not sure if the pain was of the other nut and maybe the one that i can't find is lodged somewhere else or what.

This is kind of weird/funny, but one time I had really bad allergies and my throat was sore and itchy. When I get like that I do this strange noise that scratches my throat and makes me feel better. Anyway, I was doing my throat scratching thing and I felt something wrong like something had come loose in my throat. I looked in the mirror and I could see that a big chunk of my tonsil had ripped apart and that it was just hanging there. It almost looked like a second one of those uvula things. There was some blood and everything. It really freaked me out enough to go to the student health center.

The doctor that looked at me was totally worthless and just thought that I had a sore throat. He told me that it was normal and that my tonsils were inflamed and that it would eventually shrink back up to normal. I knew that there was no way that this thing hanging in the back of my throat was going to just go away.

So after dealing with it for a couple of days, I was thinking about just reaching back there and ripping it off. Luckily, I woke up the next morning with a chunk of something in my mouth. I spit it out and sure enough it was that piece of my tonsil.

    Strange thing.

Might very well be the most bizarre thing i've ever read here ~ you didn't even get it checked out! !

It's probably been knocked up in your body go to the doctor immediately ~ testicles do not dissolve after a hard blow.
