Okay, I have been going a little crazy and I purchased a NEC LT245 beamer for a home cinema. Furthermore, I purchased a digital satellite receiver with a 80 GB hard drive, and I have a subscription to a German pay TV channel (so that I can watch all soccer games :D).

I haven't received the stuff yet, but my question is:

Can I transfer files from that digital hard drive receiver thing to my computer somehow or at least burn them on DVD (and then maybe from there transfer them to the computer hard drive)?

    Thanks for any advice!

Oh, the model is called Humax PDR 9700, I think they only sell it here in Germany, but I would imagine there are comparable models in the US...
