Believe it or not... Shadow Dancing by Andy Gibb. I don't own his records, but if it came on the radio I would listen to it, because it reminds me of when was young.
This thread is hilarious. Agh! I hate saying this..... Ace of Base - The Sign When I'm at a restaurant or elsewhere and this song is played, I think "ooo cool. I like this song. " But I'm ashamed to say it. Pretty shallow of me, I guess. Oh well. -- droxford
"Wichita Lineman" by Glen Campbell -- Absolutely perfect song, however cheesy some may describe it. Also "MacArthur's Park" by Richard Harris. Both of these songs were penned by Jimmy Webb
I don't know . . . . so many come to mind "My baby Daddy " WHO DAT I-AH .. . that's jsut my baby daddy JUMP - Kriss Kross [I'm such a shame] "Jump Around" House of Pain [the name sparked it off i guess] anything by Celine Dione that I like Rocket River sometimes . . i have to pull a Michael Bolton [from office space] . . I have to hunch down in my car and turn the music down so no one will know
"I love you always forever" Donna Lewis sadly, this was the first CD i ever bought... also bought the 2 Hootie CDs.
Probably "Lick it Up" by Kiss. I despise Kiss and all that they stand for-- which is treating rock and roll like a cynical business. I get so pissed that I like this song, but I do. The title is pretty much the entirety of the lyrics. I have also liked damn near every Linkin Park single. Yeesh. Can't help it!
Since I define "good" art as what I like (there is no real objective measure of art to determine what is good) it is impossible for me to like a "bad" song. Having said that, here are some good songs other people might think are bad: All the Things You Said - Tatu Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai We Built This City - Starship Sonny Came Home - Shawn Colvin Mmm mmm mmm mmm - Crash Test Dummies Insensitive - Jann Arden It's Not Unusual - Tom Jones I Ran - A Flock of Seagulls Assorted Hootie and the Blowfish songs Hemorrage - Fuel Clocks - Coldplay Laid - James Complicated - Avril Levigne
I don't think anyone should feel any shame for liking "Toxic," that's the best song computers can create. I love it. It's like not enjoying Coca-Cola products. And no shame in liking anything Jimmy Webb wrote, either.
"It's my life " by Talk Talk "Ice Ice Baby" - Vanilla Ice "Daydream Believer" -the Monkees I love that Pop music...
"Baby One More Time" - Britney "Whoomp! There It Is" - Tag Team several things by N'Sync Most things by the Backstreet Boys A fair amount of Kansas/ Styx/ other 70's stuff that is not retro cool right now
dude...to this day, I still have a copy of Fire somewhere around here...and used to own Honey also... one of those facts that anyone that knows my musical tastes would never believe. also... adding some other stuff I actually like... just about anything from Christopher Cross.. and some seriously cheesy 70s singles(Undercover Angel, Wildfire, Midnight at the Oasis, Seasons in the Sun, and the Pina Coloda Song) Beat that!!
What!? No. Anyone who thinks this song is bad would have to be a damn fool. Coldplay is great, especially The Scientist, Yellow, Clocks, and Trouble.
why are these bad songs. those are great songs. if Sarah McLachlan songs are bad, then add 4 or 5 more to my list. and Toxic should not be a Britney song people feel bad about liking. it's not a fluffy teen-pop song or something. fairly impossible to fight it's catchiness. and Baby One More Time is just a good pop song. and i just realized me and StupidMoniker like a lot of the same songs (except for anything by Fuel). if only you could appreciate the greatness of steve francis.
I finally thought of it! "Heavy Fuel" - Dire Straits (spoken) - I love the babes, don't get me wrong. Hey, that's why I wrote this song!
