So I'm at the mall this afternoon, looking for a couple of pairs of dressy jeans to wear out. So, my ex tells me to go look at Nordstrom. Okay, so I'm thinking, I should be able to get a nice pair for around $60-70 bucks, right? So I walk over to a table, and see a nice pair of All Seven for Mankind jeans, then glance at the price tag and notice they're $180 f'n dollars. Screw that, so the cheapest one was like $130. I'm like, okay so maybe I shouldn't be shopping here. So I go over to the Lucky Brand Jeans store, and the same story. Lot of nice stuff, but nothing under $92. At this point, I'm frustrated, so I tried a dark blue one on, and it fits really well. I start walking up to the cash register to buy them, at which point I had a gut check. What type of hetersexual male would pay that ridiculous amount of money on a pair of jeans? Anyways, I left the store, and picked up a pair of dark boot cut jeans from Express for like $58, which isn't bad, all things considered. My assessment is that only two kinds of people should be buying the $100+ jeans: 1. Gay guys who can outdress a straight guy any day of the week. or... 2. Credit card millionaires who make $30K/yr, drive a leased 325, and eat at PF Chang's on the credit card.
With the insecurities you are feeling, you should take the 100% accurate gay test. http://www.brokennewz.com/displaystory.asp_Q_storyid_E_908gay Report back when you're done. It should be quick...for you
Do they have sequins? (cause you do have to pay extra for the hand stitching) $92 is cheap if they'll make my ass look fabulous. Designer Jeans! It's rodeo time in Houston again!
$100 or more for jeans for a guy? That is absolutely ridiculous!!!! Spending over $50 makes me cringe. They're just clothes. Sheesh! I'd rather spend my money on tickets to go to games!
I've got four words that will solve your problems: Levi Strauss and Co. Great heterosexual jeans that are well made and moderately priced. Can't go wrong with a great pair of Levi's. -- droxford
agreed. no reason to spend more than 30-40 bucks on jeans. levis. gap. whatever. but a 100 plus on jeans? no.
is this your first pair of jeans or somethin .... some nice jeans cost over 100 ... i don't see the problem with that .... and ive never heard of expensive clothes being tied with being gay you don't care though the ladies do
I've got a couple of pairs of $100+ jeans. It's actually not a bad investment, given the frequency of use that I get out of them. I'd pay $100 for slacks any day, and I wear these a lot more than a pair of slacks. Women notice, if that sort of thing is of interest to you.
Obviously this is not the *only* way I get women. I have a vast arsenal of weapons to bring to bear on any female target.
Why would the ladies care about the price of my jeans? Even if they do, those ain't the type of ladies i'm trying to attract.
There is nothing gay about buying expensive jeans. Jeans are definitely worth the money because of the frequency you wear them.
Don't Need It. I've got my automotion, I've got that superpotion. And if you think I'm going crazy, Then pretty baby it might be true babe.
