I loved last night's episode. "This Log is Your Log" song was hilarious.

I nominate the following for line of the night:

After the log plowed through Kentucky Fried Panda, Homer exclaimed:

"Not Kentucky Fried Panda! It was finger ling-ling good!"

    Time for a new cause.

My fav episode from seasons 10 and 11 was "Mom and Pop Art". That episode, "30 Min over Tokyo" and "Behind the Laughter" are the only quality episodes from those seasons, IMO.

    May fav line last night:

(Jesse Grass is looking for volunteers to live in the big tree. )

"Remember, you can't come down for any reason. Not for a Phish concert. Not even for Burning Man."

(all the volunteers lower their hands)

I also loved the runaway Lisa Log plowing into Hemp City. The Springfield Shopper headline read "Hemp City Reduced to Stems and Seeds".

Oh, and I guess I forgot about "Bart to the Future". Another quality episode.

Two great bits from Bart to the Future

Indian: "Throw something of value into the fire -- Hey -- not a firecracker!"
Bart : "I bought that firecracker from a guy on your reservation."
    Indian: "That's Crazy Talk"
    Bart: "No, I'm serious..."
Indian: "No really. That was my brother, Crazy Talk."

    Or

    Milhouse: "The country's bankrupt."
    Lisa: "How? What happened?
Milhouse: "Remember the last administration's decision to invest in our nations children? Big mistake. The balanced breakfast program created a nation of super-criminals and the midnight basketball program taught them to function without sleep."

I like where Marge said, "This is a good headline for Leno. Ketchup truck hits hamburger stand." then when you see her cutting out the article, it says in smaller letters, "six killed"

I thought almost all the new episodes from the last two seasons have sucked. I haven't been happy with any episodes after season 9.

However, I've been pleasantly surprised with this seasons episodes. I really enjoyed last nights and the premiere.

Maybe they've finally turned the ship around.

Season 12 has been ok so far. Last night was mildly funny. Josh Jackson from Dawson's Creek was the guest star as "Jesse Grass".

While seasons 10 and 11 weren't great, they had their moments...
"Simpsons Bible Stories", "30 Minutes over Tokyo", "Behind the Laughter", "Bart to the Future" and "Mayored to the Mob"
