I play the lottery occasionally. And on rare occasions I'll buy a scratch off ticket. The other day I actually won $10 bucks on a $2 ticket. It felt like I hit big time because the few times I've played the best I've ever done is to win my money back. What's the most any of you have won?
i got $20 once or twice back in the day on a scratch off but those were few and far between. haven't played in forever, but i'm pretty sure i hold the record for lowest return on investment ever for lottery tickets. one time, my mom got my grandpa and i 70 tickets for our birthdays (only 4 days apart) and on his 35, he won something like $40. on my 35, i won $5. it was unbelievable. just a long stretch of nothing broken up by the occasional $1 win. and that pretty much sums up my history with scratch-offs.
I won 100 once, 20 dollars twice, and 5 dollars like 4 times. Once you win, you just wanna keep playing. I probably lost more than I won. At one time I was addicted to it. You never know though.
when i was a kid I talked my dad into buying a pot of gold scratcher because i like the little leprechaun that was on it. he was going to by a different type of scratcher and when he bought that one he won 500 bucks on the pot of gold on it. but since i've turned 18 i dont buy too many lotto tickets myself but if i do its scratchers the most i've personally won is 50 bucks on a scratcher. I've probably spent only like 15 bucks total on scratchers over the past 4 years and have won 10 bucks twice and 50 once so i've been ok so far. california lotto has a nba promotion scratcher right now i havent picked one up yet but i'll probably check it out
I won $20 once. The best I have ever done in winning something was with the McD's monopoly game. $200 Sony Card.
$40 on scratch offs - I buy about 6 of these a year. Scratch offs are a NOT a good return on your investment. $110 on TX Lottery - I hit 4 numbers ONCE and it payed 110. I buy maybe 30 lotto tickets a year. Lotto is NOT a good return on your investment.
i dont think i've ever won more than the tickets price. and i don't win my money back that often, either. one time this lady talked my friend (drunk) and I into buying this $20 ticket and we didnt win a damn thing.
i've won 20 bucks twice and 10 bucks atleast twice. when cvs pharmacy opened up they put these little scratchoffs in the paper and i won 50 bucks to their store. that was the highest prize they had and the most "money" i've ever won. the most lotto numbers i've matched is 3.
My wife's aunt's (by marriage) son just won $1000 per week for life on a scratch-off ticket from a C-store in Bluefield, VA.
Thank you Clutch for search!!! http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=45474&highlight=cash+five
Actually, I searched because I couldn't remember how much I had won way back then. For the record, I quit playing while I was ahead.
