Outside of San Antonio, I don't think any team will want to play us.

    Seattle, Pheonix- Inexperienced
DAllas and Sacramento- Regular season teams
Memphis and the 8th seed- Not good enough.

If we avoid the Spurs in the 1st 2 rounds, I don't see why we can't go to the conference finals.

Over a 7 game series? Tough question. I think we can beat anyone in any single game, however. I think we have a great chance at making some in the playoffs, however.

We are probably the second fearless team, but fearful? no!

Thats right. We are the first most feared team. 'Antionio wants no part of us. They fear us. Van Gundy and Yao and T-Mac and the cookie monster puts the fear into their hearts. They would probably rather watch "The Shining" over and over again alone in a dark room than play the Houston Rockets.

    realistically no

i think SA/PHO/SAC/DAL are all more fearful on any given night.

in regards to a 7 game playoff series I think its SA and SAC. The kings are experienced but always get a lot of bad breaks in the playoffs it seems (injuries, game 6).

Phoenix is a one trick pony named nash and if he wears down so will the suns. also the last team to play their type of ball and win was the lakers who also were a very good half court team with magic and kareem. their total lack of defense will more than likely will be their downfall. its the dallas maverick syndrome as i like to call it, all flash but nothing to show for it since they can never stop the other team.

seattle, inexperienced and also play a more uptempo game, but they are tough inside defensively with james, collison, fortson and evans but i think they will be 2nd round at best.

rockets i would say in a playoff series would be 3rd because they have probably the best two some in the west with tracy and yao and a defensive coach in JVG. JVG teams always excel in the playoffs despite not being spectacular (i was extremely pleased how tough the rockets were against the lakers last year, it could have gone to 7 games easily if they got a few bounces)
but his knicks teams have always done well and the vets on this team are hungry and they are getting that chemistry down, but the kings have amazing chemistry if they can stay healthy and the spurs are the spurs.

Let see how long this winning streak lasts... obviously much of the intimidation factor will depend on how we close out the season...

I will be happy just to make the playoffs (won't be easy). Anything after that will be gravy.

Man, yall jumping the gun to fast. When did the Rockets become experienced. We have 2 superstars who have never made to the second round and a center who has yet to prove he can give anything in the playoffs.

I think he's referring to us being the oldest team in the league. I'm loving what the Rockets are doing right now but I'm not quite ready to declare them the second most feared team in the West either. I just hope they keep playing as well as they're playing, because if they do I think the free agents will be lined up to sign here and fill in the holes.

Let them play for another 2 months and it's possible that they can become one of the 2-3 best teams in the league by then.

Hope that the Mo for DA trade goes down. We need someone to backup TMac desperately so that he can be fresh when playoffs come.

I will give our center a chance if Rox gets into playoff. If you see Yao Ming played in Olympics, you might change your view.

The Spurs and the Suns are a lot more scary than us. And the Kings and Mavs have a lot of playoff experience and alot of firepower so I think they too are more scary than us. However, we probably have the best 1-2 punch among those teams and when it come down to crunch time I wouldn't trade T-mac for anyone on those teams.

    1. Spurs
    2. Suns
    3. Dallas
    4. Rockets

    5. Sacramento
    6. Memphis
    7. Sonics
    8. Denver (the george kalr factor).

I'd actually like if we kept the 6 spot and played Seattle first round. San Antonio would be a little much and the Suns just dont seem as easy of outs as Seattle. They're not that impressive to me, although the fact that they're a jumpshooting team and we leave ginormous holes open on the parimeter does concern me.
