Conan is consistently hilarious. If he was on earlier, I'd watch him every night. Letterman was always my favorite until he moved to CBS. He just wasn't as funny or interesting as when he was heaving stuff off of buildings and running over things with steamrollers.
I voted for Conan. Even on an off night when the material is bad he can still get a few laughs just by being goofy. Its fun to watch/hear Max play the drums too, even if it is for 20 seconds at a time.
I voted for Jimmy Kimmel, but there are things in a few of these shows I like: Letterman's Top 10 List Leno's Headlines Kimmel's Unecessary Censorship Stewart's correspondants.
Occassionally, but I remember seeing many of them the first time around. Somewhere, I still have his 7th or 8th anniversary special on video tape. It has one of the funnier highlight packages with his Stupid Pet Tricks I've ever seen. Hilarious.
By the way, Daily Show isn't late night. It has to come on AFTER the news to really be considered late night, IMO.
Me too, every Friday he does this news edit thing that is FUNNY as hell!! Most of his gusts arent that great, but he has good writing.. reminds me of a young Conan
Letterman for me I always loved when he would send Rupert out in public with an earpiece and tell him what to say one time, Rupert was in some resteraunt, and Letterman is telling him to say "i smell burnt squirrel!!! i smell burnt squirrel!!!" ..he did it and i was rolling laughing
That RUSSIAN DANCE song that Dave plays while someone is fetching something or doing something quickly really cracks me up... Surijul and Mujibur Rupert's Hello Deli The intern girl across the building Dropping stuff from the Ed Sullivan Theater roof and the number one reason: The Top Ten
I voted for Leno. During the week, I don't stay up too far past 11pm. He doesn't appear biased on discussions and always keeps the conversation light. I like his monologue the best though and usually catch it before calling it a day. I can't stand Letterman and crew. Sometimes the stuff off the set is funny, but I haven't laughed at the top 10 thing in at least 10 years. When I do stay up late I like Kimmel, but Conan is funny as hell too.
ed left to persue acting, so leno brought john melendez from howard stern in to be the announcer. i voted leno because he is still the current king. all time would be carson, but for latenight that is on now its leno. letterman is pretty good, otherwise he wouldnt be on still. and how about kimmel and ferguson? they're pretty good, but they're in thick competition with conan. i like all 3 of those late late night shows.
