hey guys, i was just wondering if anyone's sat in the upper level side court seats before? is it a good view considering its on the upper deck? or would you suggest buying tickets that are on the lower level behind one of the baskets?
I had seats in the 30 dollar section and they were pretty good. We were in the forth row, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I think that section is the sweet spot for me. All the other sections cost alot more for a marginally better view. To be honest, I don't think there's a bad section in the Toyota Center. I was in the cheap seats for the playoffs, and they were fine.
obvoiusly if you can afford it and don't mind shelling out the money, the lower section is better but the upper deck is fine as for viewing. the stadium seats are great so no one is ever in your way (cept sometimes b/c i'm short). my advice is to sit in rows 1-5 (in any section) and not worry too much abt the section itself. have fun!
I would rather be in the upper deck on the side than in the lower bowl behind the basket. I think it is a better view.
The 14 or 20 dollar level seats are good enough for me, I highly recommend it if you don't want to fork out a lot of money. IMO, the 20 dollar level tickets behind the goals are not too different from the boxes (since it's right above the suites) & even the 40 dollar level seating (40 dollar right below the suites). There's a difference from the 40 versus the 20, but not too noticable.
You can't freakin' walk between the rows. What gives with such little space? An usher told me that once a woman got up quickly to cheer and dropped her baby on her lap... WHAT A DUMMY.
There is a formula for this: Femaile -------------------------------------Male Breast size + Physical looks = Wallet size + Bank account size
That was a tradeoff for getting seats closer to the floor. This building is much more narrow side-to-side than the Summit was. The idea was to make the seat rows narrower and the angle slightly sharper to get the entire building to feel closer to the game. The result is a much more intimate setting with seats literally closer to the floor from every spot between the end lines, but it is a tighter fit for sure - by just a couple inches, but that can make a big difference, obviously.
I think the best seats for the money are the ones in the upper deck just at the curve. They are slightly closer to the action without a big increase in ticket price. We bought some on guys night out and they were goods seats, but having sat on row 13, in sect. 122, for T-mac's miraculous comeback against the Spurs, there is nothing like seats on the fist deck - fourtunately I didn't have to pay for those.
the rows are kinda close together(jeff explained why)....the steps are kinda steep.....but you can certainly see the action from just about anywhere in the upper bowl...if you get in the first couple of rows, the view is just as good as if you were in one of the luxury suites...but without the personal visit from the Powerdancers and the serving wenches.. If you cansider the price of the tix up there....it aint a bad value for the money, I highly recommend it if you are on a budget. I went ahead and blew my fun fund for the month on lower bowl seats for tonight...hopefully the people around me aint lame and quiet...
I bought one of those 13 game ticket packages and all of the games were in the upper deck and they were good enough for me
Upper deck middle section is fine ... We actually moved up there from lower level corner seats Like the full view VS a closer angled view Personal preference
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but the stairs on the upper sections are at a REALLY steep angle.
