Having his best season in the NBA by far & my god is he a GREAT rebounder -Howard, Stepping up and actually contributing to the team. Sorry tinman he is... -Wesley, Ever sense we made the trade for JJ and Boki this team has "lifted off" and you can bet your money this guy had ALOT to do with it! -Deke, The best Back Up Center in the NBA! -Scotty "The Body", The NEW Matt Bullard. Had to vote for Dikembe. I remember watching him play Yao during the scrimmage at the Rox's "open practice" before the season started. I expected Yao to really dominate him, but on Yao's first touch, Deke had a sweet block. "Hmm," I said to myself, "maybe that old dude has some gas left. Glad we got him." Little did I know! I'd argue that the second team's intensity flows as much from Deke as from Barry, if not moreso. His gritty D and sick blocks really get the team revved up and hungry to whoop some ass! Plus if the rumors of him showing Yao a tip or two on defense are true, the guy's just been invaluable. To think how many people were TOTALLY against bringing him in over the offseason!
Sura, He brings it every night, and if his shot is off, he just does the other things, like grab rebounds, hustle on D, assists. He's come close to 3 triple doubles this season. Also, he has that killer junk yard dog attitude. And even if he has an injury, the dude can't be dragged off the court. I can hear his knee rattling from the stands. Who would have ever thought Sura would bring this to the Rox? And where would we be without him?

Sura. He just keeps playing great even with all the injuries. Comes to play every night and leaves it all on the floor.
Barry? No way - it's close between Sura and Deke, i chose Deke because he really has been changing the complextion of the games lately, but I can't argue with Sura...all the guys...forget it
I chose Sura because it was after he came back from surgery that we started showing some cohesiveness and fire. Deke is a close second because his addition gave us the best center rotation in the league.
I love deke, not only is he a great person and a hoya, but he pretty much nullifies yao's weakness of getting in foul trouble. Depending on the team, sometimes they might put themselves in a worse hole by sending yao to the bench.
Yao. /just kidding YOF, but i think Sura has the right to have his "role" player tag removed. That guy is clutch.
i think people overlook sometimes how good of defense Wesley actually plays.....he has shut down sooo many good guards. I think he has won us a handful of games with his defense alone, and its NOT a coincidence that we have a hell of a record since that trade........
Deke is so funny. He just "chugs" up the court with that weird running style. And he can't bend at the waist very fast at all when he needs to go down and get the ball. His looooong arms make his entire game. Even in 3-4 years he will still have long arms. I voted for Sura though - he's the man.
I voted Barry, but not without hesitating over Deke instead. Sura seems to be more than a role player these days or he would have gotten my vote.
