I have to say Barry for his leadership and seemingly contagious brand of chemistry.

Right now, I'm gonna have to say Lue for Barry.

Lue was pretty much worthless for us, and Barry has come in and made some big shots. Even when his shot is off, he still provides instant energy and gives this team an attitude that they sorely lacked.

Getting Mutombo has also been huge for this team as he's been a great backup for Yao.

#1 and #2 were both complete steals.. legitimate contributors for nothing. I love Barry and was about to vote for that one, but with Yao playing very inconsistently, Mutombo's impact has been tremendous. I voted #1.

All three have been positive. Deke was #1. JB #2. Wesley $7 (wearing it with pride!).

Gotta go with #1. I loved Lue for Barry, but we'd be much worse off without Mutombo than without Barry. Plus, getting rid of a broken-down AG was a nice bonus and Pike was doing nothing for us.

Getting Barry or getting Deke was a hard decision to choose... We got both Deke and barry for scrap that we didn't really need. Both have been really useful and helpful to our rotation but I think stealing deke was more crucial in that we needed a big man to back up yao and we got one for a pretty good price.

As much as I love Deke, and enjoy having a perimiter defender in Wesley, turning the scrub she-ra into Jon-Jon was a masterful manipulation.

It must be those thick glasses CD.

These three trades all turned out favoring us. I like the Deke pick up a lot. Back then, a lot of people question Deke's condition to play at this level. He has shown so far he's more than capable of handling 10,20 minutes a game. At this stage of game, his role on the Rox team right now suits him best.
I voted for the Barry deal, because we brought in critical qualities in Barry that was lacking. Barry has been our saviors for several games so far, while with Lue pretty much all you can ask is not to screw up.

I voted for the Lue-Barry trade. Barry has not only increased our 3 pt shooting but has also done a great job on defense, running the fast break, and his passing is second on the team to T-mac. Additionally he does a great job of finding and getting the ball to Yao at the right times. His intensity has also been a welcome addition to a team that was clearly lacking it.

Lue for Barry. Love the other trades, but with those I at least felt like we gave up something. Lue was worthless to us, and Barry is a big contributor. No brainer.

I think the best trade is the hardest one - giving up a contributor from last year for a contributor this year - so I'm in for JJ/Boki 4 Wesly.

I think his addition has made a more significant impact on the team than the other trades - and I think that is reflected in our record! Without Wesley we still don't have anyone who can lock down the perimeter

Lue for Barry. We gave up nothing and got a valuable asset.

1 and 2 are close - pretty much got something good for nothing.

All 3 are great trades. Can't sh*t talk management for any of them. JJ was the only true asset we lost.

Going with number 2 since our record since has been great.

Lue for Barry was probably THE most lopsided trade in NBA HISTORY

1st and 2nd trades are great. The 3rd one is too early to judge.
Look at the way Boki is playing, it may hurt Rockets in a long run.

I would vote 2, 1, 3. Anyone remember trading for Mario Elie shortly before the '94 championship run? I hope you do. Jon Barry has the same type of persona, tough, gritty, and capable of knocking down BIG shots late in games.
He's also got the mentality of a leader in the locker room and on the court.

Deke for Pike/AG was absolutely an amazing trade as well. Pike was a disappointment, and Deke has contributed here far more than he ever did in NJ or New York. IMO Deke has given us (in limited minutes) slightly more than Cato did while he was here.

JJ/Nachbar for David Wesley was speculative at first, but I really like Wesley's defense, and it makes life on TMac much easier. I'll take Wesley's smooth mid-range jump shot and 3 point range over JJ and Boki, although I did like them.
