    A game we should and will win. A bad team like Portland will get frustrated and press just like the Bulls did the other night. Unless NVE or Stoud get unbelievably hot, Rox should cruise the whole way.

    The key of the game is to stop the penetration and outside shooting of Damon Stoudamire and Van Excel

    They have been hot for a while since Nick insertion to the starting lineup

    Our guards have to do a better job closing out on the shooters.

    Look for Van Gundy to play Andre Barret more minutes to neutralize the quickness of the Blazers guards

    Another matchup will be Howard and Randolph. Zach is a beast in the post and excellent offensive rebounder.....We need to keep him out of the paint

    Meanwhile, Patterson should get the assignment of shutting down TMac. Also, Blazers have a lot of big bodies to throw at Yao Ming.

    Should be an interesting game

    I hope Nick the quick doesnt try to light us up like PJ did so he will look better as a guy that CD would want to trade for... I think if we can keep a lid on Nick we will win.. I wanna see Tracy get over 40 to make the Toybox happy and get more asses in the seats...

    you know the Rox win 100% when someone buys me a flight to Houston and provides me a few seats in the luxury box for myself and friends.

    maybe we should take up a collection to make sure I can afford all the games. =P

    anyways back onto the topic.

    Bad day for Western Conference teams as SA loses to Miami.
    Lakers lose to Cleveland
    Minnesota drops one with the Bulls
    Denver/Memphis are on their to losing to Eastern Teams.

    first time posting in a game thread before the game starts... so far in the east-west matchups today, east is winning 6-1. memphis, minny, lakers all lost.

    rox, now it's time to gain some ground! let's do it! :D

    The passing, the unselfishness, the thinking out on the floor ... they are just such a better team than last year. Who would have thought they'd be playing like this after the first 10 games or so? They win with offense on some nights, defense other nights... they're really growing.
