Do any of those other scrubs have any broadcast experience? Bull is pretty well versed, I tell you whut. Comets color man, stand-ins for Van Chan, Channel 2 news spots, segments on 610 radio.

Dana Baros had a horrible rap single years ago. But I don't recall any of those other guys in the media game at all.

Matt Bullard Taking part in ESPNS Dream Job contest

Just heard it on espn. He is one of many former NBA players vying the spot on espn.

Sweet. Good luck to Air Bullard. I really thought he did a great job when he filled in a couple times last season, I really thought the Rockets should have picked him up instead of Van, but it doesn't really matter.

Does anyone know who else is in the contest?

This was posted a few weeks back. They had a bunch of other players with Dee Brown and a few others being part of it.

J.R. Reid? Weak, dude was a thug. Other than him and Dawkins, it looks like a 3 point contest roster from the mid 90s.

Just last Thursday, I was driving down I-59 near the Weslayan exit when suddenly my car won't give. I start screaming "F--k!"when I realize I am completely out of gas. I pull onto the shoulder and barely have a moment to mull my options when I see a Safe Clear wrecker pulling toward me, with lust in his eyes and the body of his latest murder victim slung casually in his flatbed.

"Get back, you hellspawn!", I cry. "You will not have my seventy-five dollars!" But he only speeds faster toward me, laughing maniacally.

Suddenly, I feel my car rise about six feet, 10 inches into the air, with me in it! Slowly, it begins moving along the feeder, down the exit ramp, and into the nearest gas station, where it rests gently onto the ground.

I am shocked, and leap out of my car, but I see nothing. A few moments later, I notice a $5 off coupon for 'Beauty By Bullard' inserted behind my wiper blade.

Unfortunately i don't think Bullard has a chance. See the David Aldridge vs. Stephen A. Smith battle. Doesn't help that Screamin A. will be one of the judges.

Although, Bull was probably the best one, they were all pretty bad. All the contestants were nervous and tripping over their words. Most of them sounded like they were just reading...None of them had really any personality...None of them would have lasted past the 1st round of any past "DREAM JOB"...

By default, I think it's gonna be b/w Gerald Wilkens and Bull.

Daryl Dawkins was by far the worst one...Although, Dee Brown and JR Reid weren't far behind...

Several years ago, I was in a regular weekday game between the Rockets and the Clippers. The good guys were in form, and had the Clippers down early.

I took that as a sign to step up the alcoholic intake. Well, one beer leads to another, and I found myself soon enough stumbling towards a Compaq Center restroom. Vision blurry, head spinning, and the booming sounds of "Who Let the Dogs out" by the Baja men during yet another Clipper time-out were pounding in my head. I collapsed in front of Earl Campbell's Texas Sausage before making it to the men's room.

The next thing I remember, I was kneeling in front of a toilet in a Compaq center stall, and trying to puke what remained of my dinner. But who had helped me get here?

I looked up from the toilet to see a handsome smiling face and a well groomed goatee staring back down at me. I mumbled, "Hey, man aren't you Matt Bullard?"

He laughed and said, "Just a friend brotha. Just a friend".

I puked once more and passed out. My friends finally found me crumpled in a corner of the restroom. I asked,"Did you see Bull? Where did he go?" My friend replied, "Bull? You must really be drunk, he hasn't been on the roster in months."

    Thanks Matt....for everything

thanks for the recap. i had a feeling that some of those old ball players wouldn't be able to do a good job. just look at marc jackson and tim hardaway. it's not easy being a tv analyst especially if you have no experience and can't think fast on your feet. i think greg anthony and legs are doing a good job on espn, and bull should be there soon.

Its ironic Bullfan that they have 2 of your most favorite players in the world.
    Matt Bullard
    and
    GERALD WILKINS!

What you do with Earl's "sausage" is probably none of our business, but thanks for sharing.

I don't think Dawkins has a chance. I predict he will be the first to go. J.R. Reid will be next.

Just watched it off TIVO, I think this is Bulls contest to lose... Bull is by far the best of the group, I think he has a fair chance... When I watched this it yet reminded me why I hate sportscenter so much its cause Stewart Scott has to always prove he is "DA BOMB"... do people really still like his crap?? I thought I was cool in the 90's for about 2 years, but damn get over yourself...
