I have heard a lot of debate over the media's election coverage. Reporting Voting results during the election seems to be a bit unfair. I think that if you hear that one candidate has won, it can sway some people's vote. We all know that there is voter apathy and people would rather vote for the winner than the loser. If it is reported that "candiate X" has won, people may feel like they are throwing away a vote if it is cast for the projected loser. I vote for who I think is the best candidate regardless of what his chances are, but I think that is rare. People shyed away from Nader because he wsa a 3rd party candidate with a slim chance to win. To what degree this election was changed due to poor media reporting, I don't know, but I think that the risk is there. I'm not trying to remove the media right to free press, but I think it is poor judgement to report speculation as news. I think we could all wait until the polls were closed nationwide to get the results. ------------------ - Beck Dream...bring back the goggles
