I've said it many times...I think Tyson is going to be a stud. I can't understand why it is that he does not start. The guy is a rebounding machine.

He has had a rocky relationship with the Bulls and is currently a back up. There is a fairly good chance that he will not resign in Chicago...IMO.

What would it take to get someone like Tyson in a Rockets Uni?

We have a trade exception, 1st round pick and several low post players. I would give up a hell of a lot to get this kid on the team if Chicago can not resign him.

A Yao / Tyson front line would look damn good IMO for years to come.

I would give alot to get Chandler on our roster. I do not see that happening. But if we could get him without losing Yao or T-mac I want it

Would you give up a first rounder + MoT in exchange for Chandler. You'd have to match salaries somehow but those are details.

I think I'd do it in a sec. But I'm sure Chicago could get much better deals elsewhere.

Chandler's the one with the back problems, right? I get him and Curry mixed up, so I can never remember.

The best shot at getting TC would be connected to the relationship of Kid Curry and Ho. If they can be connected, to benefit EC's new deal, then the pieces could fall together for Chandler here. Otherwise, I regretfully do not see how it could get done.

i think everybody would do that. MoT does not get any minutes here and his contract is just way to big. So it is basically A first rounder verus Chandler. and we lose the MoT contract.who wouldn't do that.

I wouldnt doubt it if Chandler is playing well this season just because hes gonna be a free agent next year. His good season will get him a nice fat contract, then he'll probably go back to sitting on his laurels.

We dont have anything we can move for Chandler. I think he is priced out of our league right now. We would have a better chance at someone like Stromile Swift who is an UNrestricted FA. Even still, I am doubful he will take our full MLE.

Can we trade Taylor+ Cash for TE of some other teams? Since we played very well without Mo, we can suffer the loss of without getting a player back in the trade. Cap space is the more important issue for the coming summer for us, right?

I like him as the bruising PF we need to play along with Yao. However, his offensive game is still at the stage of a high school senior.

BTW, The Bulls will rush at the chance of swapping Yao + Mo for Baby Shaq + Tyson in a hurry.:)

I thought b/f the season that the Rox were pursuing Chandler to be included in the Deke deal. I don't think we've lost interest, so something could happen after the season.

I'd love to have him as a Rocket, but I it'll be very hard to get him. Although, he's not a star a lot of people see that the guy still has a lot of potential upside. Even if he never develops great offensive moves, I could see him leading the league in rebounding. The kid is a quick leaper and he has long arms and can jump too.

If the Rockets want Chandler, they have to hope his FA value won't rise about their TE. If that's the case, the Rockets can work out a sign & trade deal with the Bulls.

We can forget about Chandler, it has been noted all season that he will be seeking a max contract

I believe Chandler is a restricted free agent. And judging on how the Bulls are playing and how dumb their front office is, they will probably match almost any offer given to him.

The Rockets don't have much to work with this summer. The only way we pick up a guy like Chandler or Swift is if they really want to come here and except a lower offer than what other teams can offer, or a sign and trade deal.

I agree, there's no way Chicago let's him go. This is the best team they've had in years,...that team has potential, and letting that guy go,...well, only the Clips would do something like that.

I've been a big TC fan since before he was drafted. There's no way they let him go, but I'd give two first rounders for him, assuming he'll remain a Rocket.

We ain't getting Tyson. Chicago would let Curry go before they do Chandler. He's a Restricted FA and they can match any offer. I don't think that Chandler is seeking a maximum contract (Curry is), but he's still probably too expensive for us when we are paying 15 + mil for our bunch of PFs. The same is true with Stromile Swift.
