With the injuries that TMAC has dealt with this season, do you think that his quickness is being affected? He doesn't seem to be getting by his defenders (plural... ) off the dribble very much. He actually seems a bit slow in lateral movement. Perhaps he's still hindered by his hip, or his toe, or back.........or thumb.....:p
Lamar Odom was doing what I feel Tracy should be doing more often-drawing fouls, driving the lane.

Granted, this season is really the only TMAC viewing I've done to form an opinion on his play. Maybe those that have seen him more can chime in on his actions.

T-Mac was very effective attacking the lane early on against the Lakers, then he stopped.

If anything's slowing him down, a safe bet would be the league leading minutes-per-game he's been playing.

Yeah he needs to reduce T-mac's mins a little bit. If get DA or Kidd we should be able to do that.

Whoa, whoa. JASON Kidd? Since when did we have ANY chance of getting Jason Kidd? I'm just going to ignore that one but Derek Andersen yeah he would definitely help us and help aleviate Tmac's playing time.

IN the last 2 games. T-mac looked tired to me. 2nd string People were getting by him... and he didn't get by people as easily as he usually does. His shots were also not as silky smooth.

I think we need to get him a good backup. Derek anderson would be a perfect fit...

Holding on to what should have been blowouts would help as well. Had they maintained or extended the lead against the Lakers on Sunday, he would have gotten more rest. They have to be more able to maintain these large leads which would allow T-Mac to get off the court. Right now, they need him out there 40+ minutes.

I know you can't count on a lead of 15 or more in the NBA, but it would be nice to know they have more of an ability to close out these teams which gives JVG the ability to rest the starters.

Your worst fear might very well happen. I think TMac has been able to control himself more lately, only going full tilt when the game is on the line. Yao said he's gonna gear up for playoff I hope TMac does the same.
