just saw it from the angle given it actually looked like goal tending. miller should have just used his left hand and banked it off the glass to play it safe since there was no one coming from that side and he could at least see if anyone was coming. i watch it on sportscenter later tonight too see if there were other angles but from that clip i would say it was a goaltend.
Or dunked it home from the side - anything but go pansy with a flip shot at the front of the hoop and he sends the game into overtime!! I disagree about the goaltending - that looked like it was on it's way up - it was only just out of Miller's hand when Amare put it away.
For what it's worth, I think it's mean that Steve Nash makes fun of mentally challenged people while he's playing:
was that game tonight? ****, i looked at league pass to see if anything good was on but forgot about checking nba tv. i would've killed to watch a suns/kings game. and judging by the score i saw, 125-123, it lived up to expectations. damn it all to hell.
I make the same mistake sometimes, a lot more over the last two seasons since Direct TV moved NBA TV to channel 601. When it was at 720, you could flip between games and NBA TV.
Yes, the Suns pbp guy was f'n horrible. His stupid homer attitude is up there with the Chicago guy and Spurs guys. Good ol' Eddie Johnson who played for the Rockets is their color commentator. At least EJ adds some credibility and doesn't say every call against the Suns is bad.....Gosh...It's just so freakin unprofessional to be over-the-top homers.
same problem, nbatv went from being connected with league pass in the 910-920 range and is now at 435. i just never think about it unless i can't find a rockets game and then realize it must be there. don't forget to add the memphis announcers to your list Kim. i've heard them complaining about calls FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE during games. as in repeatedly referencing the previous game. as for the current game, they simply won't stop with how every single call against them is wrong and then b**** and moan every time they are hit up for a foul. i mean does it ever register that you probably commit right around the same number of fouls as the other team and thus went you complain about every single call your probably wrong a lot. damn it's annoying.
I think when he said it was goaltending is that the ball was in the cylinder. That's what it looked like to me but it's a bad angle so it's hard to tell.
Not sure if it was goaltending or not, but the fact that Amare was half way up the key when Miller started to shoot, and was able to recover and block it ..........well ...........that reminds you of a certain someone.
Nash single handedly kept the Suns in the game in the second quarter. These run and gun games really maxes his skills.
