What's with the smartass comment? And the ? Yes, you're cool.

If you're referring to the fact that the list I posted is pretty much a laundry list of the greatest rappers, then it's no coincidence. I like good rap.

What? I don't think I know anyone who doesn't consider Obie Trice a decent rapper!

And I don't really see why my preference of Obie Trice over Eminem is so astounding(Out there...?). They actually have very similar styles...I just prefer Obie's voice, flow, and the fact that he doesn't rely on gimmicky, annoying after two listens songs(My Name is, The Real Slimshady) to sell albums.

OCP gets no love on these boards anymore it seems like. Eh, anyway the best rapper of all time is the legendary Rakim Allah.

If you wrote "Eazy E", please refrain from posting in this thread. Anyone who listened to NWA know his rhymes were written by Ice Cube, a rapper who really should be on the list.

Did anyone go see MC Chris Sunday night after the game?

    mcchris.com

I know it's probably been posted here before but "Fett's Vette" is a modern Star Wars nerd masterpiece.

It's still hosted on his site, under Listen.

Exactly. Cube was NWA lyrically. I am still tripping that his War & Peace Vol. 1 & 2 didn't really sell. That was some of his best stuff EVER imho.

Another of the best, who remains underrated to this day is Scarface.

None of the above...No single rapper is great, IMO, but EPMD was the sh*t when I was growing up and the beastie boys still rock...

I got the joke...I was speaking more about the "please."

    Anyway...

I think if Talib Kweli keeps his albums at the level they are now, he could be mentioned as a legitimate candidate for best rapper of all time. I still haven't heard a song I didn't like.

...only because he didn't pluralize "rapper". So, to complete your thought...

    Krayzie Bone

    :p
