It seems that the last couple seasons, the Rockets have been very repetative on the wins/losses. It used to be win 2 lose 2. Here lately it is win 4 lose 2. If you look at the games from January into February, the repetition is coming back. 1 Win 2 losses 4 Wins 2 losses 4 Wins 2 Losses 4 Wins I can see this contnuing throughout the rest of the season. Can we really win more than 4 in a row? The good news is if we keep up the 2 losses after every 4 wins, we will sweep the Spurs this season.
I think they will break that trend and take home their 5th straight on Wednesday against the Baby Bulls. Heck an 8 or 12 game win streak is not out of the question with the way our schedule is setup. We would need all the wins we can get this month because March is going to be very challenging. A clean sweep of Feb. will be bery bery nice
I think we can get five, I was at the game last year when the Bulls came and JJ hit the last second shot to win the game... I hope we dont roll over for the Bulls.. This would be a good game to test the killer instinct...
Let's not go overboard now. But I agree that we really need to get all the wins we can get this month because March and April aren't very kind to us.
If the Rockets can alternate 4 wins and 2 losses the rest of the season, I won't complain. But yes, they should get their 5th in a row against the Bulls. Hell, with the way Indiana's been playing, they have a shot at an 8-game winning streak going into the All-Star Break.
hopefully the last game taught them something, but we do have a good schedule set up for us so our legs should be fresh every game a winning streak maybe ?? lets hope we haven't seen a dominant one since the 1993 season
I think its very possible.. we have a nice stretch of games that I think we can win easily. Seattle is the only team I worry about right now since we lost to Indy last time I think its payback time. J
They need to sweep thier remaining home games. To get to 50 wins you must go 30 - 11 at home and 20 - 21 away. The Rox are on track for the road, but they have 10 home losses already. So NO MORE home losses please. Control that home court.
Why not? We are in an up trend and there is no reason to believe that our winning record should stop at 5.
the bulls are not the biggest roadblock out there, but they are no hornets. i think we should be able to win this game bc the bulls have been on a losing streak and they play back to back games (dallas and then us). then again, the rockets will show signs of greatness and then....there are games like the lakers game where we lose total control and have a tough time finishing games. i just hope the rockets will come out mentally strong and play all 4 quarters.
Seriously. Its time we found out what we're made of. Check out the schedule for March. I put an H next to the games I think are gonna be hard, but I really don't know whats gonna happen... maybe they really did turn the corner and I'm underestimating them. H Feb 9 CHI H Feb 11 @IND Feb 13 POR H Feb 15 WAS H Feb 22 SEA H Feb 23 @SA Feb 27 UTA H Mar 1 @CHI H Mar 2 @WAS H Mar 6 DAL H Mar 8 @SEA H Mar 11 @PHO H Mar 13 @SAC Mar 14 @GS Mar 16 POR Mar 18 BOS H Mar 20 @MIN H Mar 22 MIA H Mar 24 CLE Mar 25 @NO H Mar 27 @SA H Mar 28 @UTA (4th game in 5 nights, on road) Mar 30 @POR
terrifying Is march tougher than November was? We can definately win @ chicago, but let's remember that one stat on that other post about games after rest.. our stars dont play as good with 3 days rest, especially Yao. Let's hope they can prove this stat irrelevant.
