John Ashcroft. Never have I seen a more honorable person in politics. I'm pretty sure we don't agree on a lot of things in principle, but this guy will always remain near the top of my list of people I admire. In case you don't know, he lost to Mel Carnahan, the deceased governor of Missouri. While various Republicans have mentioned challenging the election in court and with some believing that fraud (polls staying open late) was occuring in St. Louis, he stated that he wanted nothing to do with that and that he discourages anyone who wishes to do so. He said that the will of the people have spoken in Missouri, and he doesn't want to challenge that.
