The polling station in St. Louis was kept open one hour extra, the reason given that it was feared that the turnout would prevent some voters from voting. In Florida things aare gonna be looked at real close, especially since the entire election now rides on those ballot boxes. ------------------ Who would've thought Don Nelson would pass up Olumide Oyedeji not once, not twice, but thrice?
Actually on CNN they said that as of 11:30PM central time that the polls were still open and people were still voting. This is a CLOSE election. I heard differently. It doesn't impact Gore or Bush directly, but Ashcroft is stuck in a dead heat with the deceased former governor and the new governorship is up for grabs.
