Ferdinand is stuck at work too. He works at a motel and someone has to be on duty. Not that either one of us was planning to watch anyway.
I am an atty and we have a big huge deposition next week in Philly, anyway the soulless, abusive, repulsive partner who is taking it has chosen not to start preparing till today - so I am sitting here chasing down documents and crap (that could have been done before today but for the fact that he didn't feel like it) The irony is that I plan on leaving this place in a few months and am just hanging around to collect the $, which is good, until my lease is up and I go on vacation for the rest of the year. I'm very close to forgoing that and saying screw it.
Is the partner a man? If so, this is UNEXCUSABLE and grounds for having his man card revoked and immediately shredded.
I plan on checking some of the game but this is the most disinterested I have been in the Super Bowl since the Packers played the Patriots.

I got off of work at 5:30. Recorded the game and started watching + fast forwarding through playcall/commercials in the first quarter. Caught up to the 2nd quarter and have been watching Live ever since.
If you don't have the skills to successfully push back on an out-of-control partner, then frankly, you deserve to be in the office. HO HO HO
