Was going to pick up a new CD tomorrow but was deciding on The Game or Getoboy?

I havn't heard much of the Getoboy's CD but some of The Game songs are "bangin". Getoboy was one of my old fav. group but was wondering if they still sounded the same.

The Game is ****ing brilliant. A lot of the beats sound like a throwback to NWA type ****.

PS - Cool and Dre are making some sick ass beats right now.

I say go for The Game's CD.

I haven't heard the Getoboys, but...if it's anything like De La Soul's release last year, definitely go for The Documentary.

    1. Gotta go with the HOMETOWN
    2. Gotta go with REAL Ganstas and not Studio GANSTAS
    3. Gotta go with Reformed Gansta

    Ghetto Boys [as originally spelled]
were IMO the 1st Ganstas that added a level of
introspection and analysis to the game
[like Ice T did with pimping. .which is why
he is above Too Short who just talked it
    but Ice T analysized it]
Ghetto Boys were pissed and let u know why
    NWa was just pissed

Ghetto Boys - the third rap Album I ever bought
was Grip It On that Other Level

    Changed my hiphop life

    Rocket River
1st Album was LL Cool J [forgive me i did not know better]
2nd PUBLIC ENEMY - IT TAKES A NATION OF MILLIONS . . . the best album of all time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only heard one single off the Getto Boys CD and it was, but I gotta go with picking up The Game's CD. The first two singles off The Documentary (How We Do & Westside Story) have been tight as s***. I'm a huge rap fan and I have 1000's of rap songs, so I'd like to think I know what's good. The Game is definitely on the rise as one of the better rappers out there.

Also, I think any song affiliated with G-Unit these days is great. I have Get Rich Or Die Tryin', Beg For Mercy, The Hunger For More, and Straight Outa Cashville, and of all those CD's, there's not one song I don't like on any of them. All that s*** it hot! Then there's Eminem and Dre who are a part of all that, and I don't need to say how great those two are. Don't forget Obie Trice, too, all these guys are great rapper, in my opinion.

Pick up The Documentary by The Game, I'll be doing so soon.

The Game is lacking in lyrical content, but the beats more than make up for it...the beat by Timbaland (put you on the game) is crazy.

    You think?

He's no Talib Kweli, but I'd say he's a pretty good lyricist. Best G-Uniter, if you ask me.

That sounds like a review of every G-Unit album.
