Does Mo even deserve to come off the IL?

With they way "The Body" is playing I dont really see any reason why Mo should even come off the IL... If we are in fact looking to trade him I think with the way he has been playing this year it will only hurt his trade value(IF ANY) by playing.. I dont care how much a player makes and if that fat contract sits on the bench if another player is playing better.. I think JVG is doing the right thing by keeping his butt on the bench, anyone else see how well we get up and down the court without Mo never seeing any playing time??

I would bring him off the IL for Spoon or Gaines (not sure if he already on the IL or not). Padgett has been awesome the past few weeks so I dont see Mo getting any playing time anyways but it would be nice to have him on the active roster just incase Howard gets injured during the game or Padgett can't matchup with the other team's PF.

Agreed. We need MoT just in case, Spoon is completely useless as well.

I have absolutely no idea how CD is going to move MoT.

I don't really care if he does or if he doesn't. He's the third option at the 4 now though.

That is the problem with Mo. Do you think he will accept a role behind a role player like Padget? Mo already thinks he should be #1 PF on the team.

We would be much better if Mo would just accept any role the needs him to take. That is why players like Padget, Bowen and Barry will always find work in the NBA - they sure have egos but they know as well that "team" and "effort" comes first

We definitely need MoT to TKO KG in our next game against the wolves. At least then Mot can contribute something to the team :D

After watching the ball movement increasing the last two weeks or so, I'd leave him on the IR. You can forget about any fluid offensive play when the ball hits his hands.

    Black hole maybe? no?

The selflessness of Padget, Wesley, Mac, Jon, Yao and Sura out on the floor is just too much fun to watch. Absolutely all of those guys would find the open man without thinking about it - it is like second nature. Watching them today it was like watching the Kings or Suns. Juwan, Strick and Deke did a good job moving the ball too.

The team is clicking and I hope Mo gets "on the train" be a "part of something big" [no pun intended].

It's sad that MoT is the 2nd highest paid player on the team, and he's on the IL with 'phantom' injuries...

However, I don't see him fitting into the style of play (i.e. ball movement, motion/up-tempo offense) that the rockets have adopted as of late. He's more of a threat when in isolation...and he doesn't pass. Plus, Howard and Padgett are playing well, and are spreading the defense effectively.

That said, he's still better than Spoon...

MoT can lead the fast break and cross up Cassell with his wicked handles.

MoT has been the best player on the bench, literally.

well he's probably better then spoon but no more then the third option now. i'd atleast activate him. cd might be the greatest gm ever if he can move mo for ANYTHING.

I always bring in Padgett at the 4 when falling behind in games on NBA Live 2005, Im surprised it took JVG this long to figure it out.

Although I like Mo, he hasnt played up to par this year. We arent missing him. Leave him out, and hopefully it will make him hungry again.

I say leave him out - at some point, if he wants to play, he will become so disgusted that Mo's agent will have to start doing CD's job and find a trading partner for the Rockets (agents do that)

... but if Mo actually plays again, teams see he need a can of "care" and be scared off

Im starting to think a buy-out settlement will occur before a trade will.

I stand by my opinion that Mo Taylor is the most untradeable person in the NBA.

Mo on IL is actually the best way he could do to help the team. Keep him there.
