So yesterday I went shopping for ski clothes for a spring break trip to keystone at a resale store in Pasadena..

While I didn't find any decent ski stuff I did find a 2 piece, charcoal grey suit by Brooks Brothers that fits and looks better than anything I've ever bought in any store. All for 15 bucks. (cheapest one I could find on the Brooks Bros website was $498)

    It looks something like this:

Anyone else ever find any thrift store bargains, or know of any good resale shops in the Houston area?

Which Thrift Store did you go to in Pasadena....Value Village? I used to go there quite a bit during high school. Me and some friends bought our suits there for a banquet one year, we were lookin pretty slick. :D

HELL NO, I wanted to know so I could be a little less jealous.. The "346" tag is from thier outlet store and the "Makers" tag is from the retail store... I love Brooks Brothers stuff and you got ATLEAST a $600.00 suit for $15.00:eek: if you really like the suit try some of thier "NON-IRON" shirts, they are kinda over priced, but you NEVER have to IRON them.. wash then dry and they look better than most DRI-Cleaners, I am not talking wrinkle free they are really NON-IRON.. I used to Iron my own shirts because I am very anal about wrinkles then I found these and now I NEVER have to touch these with an Iron... Again, great pull:)

I kind of figured that whenever I found a piece of paper in the breast pocket that said "Andrew Jackson for President"

I went to Alamo thrift in Pasadena alot right after the 95 championship because there was always good Rockets stuff there. For about two years after every kind of t-shirt, cup, whatever made for either of the two championships could be found there. Thrift stores are great if you know what you're looking for.
