Weepee! Good win to start out a new month, hopfully we can ride on this momentum and put out a playoffs run. We have a pretty easy schedule this month, could be a good time to snatch that 6th seed.

Another good thing about this team is they don't beat themselves anymore. Last year Francis, Yao, Cat and JJ all turn the ball over like crazy. These old guys take care of the ball better. 16 TOs like today is rare.

    Wow,

If the team moves the ball like that they are amazing to watch.

Not sure why they don't do that every game...

Clearly they will not shoot this well every game, but they could pass this well.

Chemistry is so much better now....WOW !

Not to take away from the great win but man Sura just gets under my skin his job is to get others involved then look for his shot.I much prefer Barrett out there.Your big guy is shooting 53% from the field for the season and guys like sura and other role players get more shots I dont get it.I just hate the fact that the Rockets are a jump shooting team which i feel will hurt them. The only guy should be jump shooting is T-mac and at times he depends too much on it.I prefer seeing him going to the rim he cant be stooped!.But for Yao if your not going to use him trade him please so he can shine elsewhere. And get some players for him that will fit the system, cause as of right now he hardly a second option. And as for his rebounding I think Gundys system hurts Yao in that category. He always is away from the basket roaming outside the paint helping on defense.i never see Shaq out there helping his point guard his guy.I think Yao's minutes also would go up in another system cause he wont be doing as mouch moving around like he does here, setting picks, helping his injured pg on defense etc.I think it's ok for people to see that Sura is a ball hogg but seems some take it too hard.I admit he's tough and all but he is playing out of position. He's more suitable coming off the bench in my opinion.I'm out!

I'll take 16 turnovers if the team also has 35 assists. Didn't they have that many assists in a game recently? I remember hearing that it was a high for the NBA this season.

Our offense depends so much on our Open FG%. Once we figure out how to score when the shots aren't falling we will be tough to beat. That's when Yao should become option 1a and Tmac 1b. T-mac would have to drive more unless he's on fire.. but anyway, we are a team that will almost always win if we are hitting our open shots. You can't say that about every team because we have won games when the other team is shooting good %. With all of the time at "home" this month I hope the Rockets put in a lot of shooting drills and maybe add a few more offensive plays, especially for Yao in the high post or 15' range. I have fallen in love with this team more than I could have imagined since the beginning of the season.

Yao is a real team player, who is scarce among NBA stars, definitely.

What I do hope to point out is, without Yao, all rockets shooters will not do that well and the team will lose their effective offence tactics & become another Magic.

I also care more for Rockets' win than for Yao's stats, while, my concern is if Yao will leave the city since he is limited here and has not got enough respects as an all-star player. You know, Huge China fans couldn't accept a role player Yao with only 18/8 per game; The NBA official and Team Yao couldn't accept either. Yao himself? I dont' know...

It's a high risk for Rockets' long term success, we can foresee that, if Yao refuses to sign next contract with Houstion, then CD and Les have to trade him NEXT SEASON just like Magic.

That's truth, that's risk, certainly it may be better to trade yao for another excellent player...

Has this team played any better this year? I can't remember a more impressive "team" performance.

I was in ball movement heaven!

And, I had a brief "flashback" when Padgett and Barry were draining threes: when in the mid-nineties the Rockets had role players that were regularily hitting threes, they were near unbeatable. And, yes, my friends, it can happen again. McGrady is going to hit a fair share of jumpers, but, if defenses collapse on Ming and you can send in the "bomb squad," good things are going to happen.

This team has kicked into another gear. I saw Philly put a whooping on the Mavs in D-town without AI just the other day. I like the way the Rockets are playing.

I'm sick of all these YOF's complaining that Yao doesn't get the ball. Yao can't get good position and half the time tonight, he got stuffed or threw up some weak shot. Anyways, all that Yao fronting lefft our perimter people open, so yes, he did have a big impact on the game. Hopefully, all these YOF's will realize that Yao can do things other than scoring and rebounding.

Let's face it, Yao plays like he is the 2nd best player on the team, which he is. I have absolutely no problem with that and look forward to many more years of Yao and McGrady together.
