Has anyone heard any reasons about why Woods slipped so far down? I wonder if that old pesky back injury of his was more serious than was announced in public, or what it was. It's odd that every single team(some teams more than once)passed on the guy. I haven't heard much about it today. ------------------
Bad back, lack of toughness, mentally and physically, and that negates his inside game. I think this is a good pick for Minnesota if they can get Woods to hang out with KG! ------------------ "Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" - Jesse Ventura
A back injury for a player projected to play 4 or 5 is not what teams want. Look what happened to Cisse, and his knee. You don't want a Larry Johnson or a Penney Hardaway right out of college to play physical ball down low especially in the West. For the Wolves on the other side, this is a good pick to fall to them. You don't have to pay him much in salary, and if he works out you have like a Marcus Camby to help on the boards and weak side defense along Garrnet. ------------------ "Basketball is truth, and J-Dub is a lie..." I know basketball and most GM's don't...sometimes the best rooster move is no move at all. What makes your team successful is truly knowing when it's time to make a change and who is the player to help you do it. [This message has been edited by Mo Diggity Dawg (edited June 29, 2001).]

I heard on Sports Radio Philly 610 WIP that the reason he slipped so far was that his back problems are so bad that he might only last a year or two in the NBA. ------------------ The Highest Leapers in the NBA
