Have any of you guys seen this guy on television pushing this book? Have any of you bought it? If you have what do you think about it. What do you think of the concept that drug companies don't want you to know about these natural cures?
In my opinion, here is the problem with the thinking, drug companies would be able to push any natural cures as well. We are a fast paced society. Nobody has time to put these things together or to even squeeze a lemon. So drug companies would probably jump on the bandwagon with something natural and sell it. Make it a pill, Make it a candy. Whatever. So it would seem unlikely that this guy's natural cures have not already been incorporated if they do indeed cure. I think it is good marketing as well (by the book).
There is absolutely nothing wrong with what the guy is selling. Natural healing books are very informative. The question is whether you want to spend money on the books. If you watched the show, you would have noticed a very key thing that the seller lays out. Drug companies cannot just market vitamins and minerals as cures because they are not qualified as "Drugs". The FDA has been trying to do this for years and if they did then can you imagine how much vitamins and minerals would cost? The government needs to keep their hands off certain things. If they cared for peoples lives and not the money then why is Health Care the way it is in this country. Cancer is the leading cause of death and it links directly with the crap some people put in their body. If you want a good "Free" place to start try Sauls web site. http://www.doctoryourself.com/index.html You don't have to buy his book. Everything is on the free site. Better than that he gives great references to studies done. As I may have made it clear in the past, I am a huge proponent to eating right and taking proper quantities of vitamins, minerals. Taking in the proper amount of protein, carbs, and the proper fats with exercise and don't bother with some of these fad diets. Eating right is a choice we must all make. Unhealthy people (where applicable) only have themselves to blame when they eat themselves into disorders like Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and ADD. By the way I don't sell it. I simply choose to be a part of it. I hope this helps.
Isn't this that Don Lapre guy that, a decade ago, was telling us how he made a fortune out of his one-bedroom apartment by simply placing one tiny ad newspapers nationwide? Then, five years ago, he was telling us how he made a fortune out of his one-bedroom apartment by simply selling vitamins over the internet. You know the guy...he's an annoying pain in the ass.
