Okay, Me and my buddies are trying to make the Lakers @ Rockets at 2:30 at the Toyota Center, after the game we want to jet directly to a near by sports bar to catch the Super Bowl.

I figure the game will last 3 hours worst case, and the Super Bowl will be starting immediately after the game.

How early should I plan to arrive at the Sports Bar, I'm a little worried about getting a table (seat) if we stay for the entire Rockets game.

    Any Suggestions?

Good luck showing up at game time. You should just have a set up back at one of your houses/apartments so you can walk in and there's cold beer ready and you just have put some chili or something on the stove.

Yep, Live is by far my favorite sports bar in town and is becoming a regular Friday night hangout for me and some friends. And it just happens to be downtown, so only a few minutes from Toyota Center. Khalil and his staff will treat you right! :)

I second this...or third it...or whatever. Live is a great sports bar.

What exactly is this establishment? It's right by my home.

Do you think it would be possible to reserve a table at Live???
I will have 5-6 people and order lots of food and drinks.

Unless you want to stand the entire game, there is no way you can go to a Sports Bar that close to the game. I believe that the best idea is to go to someone's house and just watch it there. It would be a bit cheaper as well. I say, get your alcohol taken care of Saturday and if you want, make an order at BW3 or somewhere like that where you can pick up on the way to the party location.

I would suggest you combine football with football shaped mamaries for an unforgettable evening.

I usually have friends and family at my house on the big screen.

    I'm cheap like that.

We are actually having a party on our street for the Super Bowl. Alot of food, alot of booze, alot of fun. I will be recording the game on my DVR so I can watch it in detail during the week. At last year's party, with everything going on, I missed alot of the game. Everyone brings something, everyone brings booze, a Super Bowl board going on, good times.

I went there for the MNC game last month. I was impressed with the layout and design, but they have plasma TVs broadcasting the game in REGULAR non-HD.

I could have watched it in HD if I just stayed at home!

    How lame!
