Also GoatBoy Mo fouls stupidly sometimes or alot of times ie. fouling Nestorivich from the the Spurs on a fadeaway jumper. I alomost jumped through the TV when he did that. Thats a rookie type foul and that must really irk JVG. I think Mo would prosper on another team.

I agree but he is realllly pron to Offensive Fouls. He is allways trying to force his self into the offense rather than letting the offense come to him. That was ticks me off the most about him.

If everybody recalls, we signed Mo to a $1mil/1 year contract initially. Afer that year we signed him to that 6/yr deal after which he promptly hurt himself.

So if you average that out, its really <$8 mil a year. For a quality big man, that isn't too bad. Key word, however,...quality.

    God,

Isn't the trade dealine coming up? I pray to you that we rid the team of the cancer called Mo Taylor. He has done next to nothing for us since we signed him to that big contract. Could you please possibly smite him with a plauge of Godly proportions, or would you strike him down with your furious hands. I, along with many Houstonians, would welcome the sudden demise of this cancer. Please God, to you I pray. Amen

The thing about plantar fasciaitis (which I have had before), is that it gets worse when you run a lot (from the pounding on your feet), but gets better with rest. MoT hasn't played in a week, so how did his plantar fasciatis get worse? This really sounds like punishment.

Maybe Rudy would want MoT back. MoT and Juwan for Brian Grant works salarywise, as Grant has a huge salary. MoT and Grant both have two years left on their deals after this year. Juwan has four years left, so I am not sure the Lakers would go for the extra obligation. But Grant doesn't seem to be getting much PT in LA, so maybe they would consider such a deal.

    Mo Taylar

Does anyone know what's going on with Mo Taylor? He had the flu for a while now, he should have been over it by now.

    Two questions:
1.) Is Mo not going off the IL because JVG wants more time for Scott Padgett, who in my opinion has been a gem for the Rockets so far?

2.) Or is it Mo is in the process of getting traded...but who would want him?

I wouldnt mind doing that trade. Grant could atleast give us some toughness inside which none of our PFs are giving us right now. Plus he is a decent mid-range shooter so its not like we would lose alot of offense when Howard goes to the bench.

I'd take Grant, but I'd rather give them Mo, Gaines and Ward (which works). I think they'd rather have Mo than Grant, but would they be willing to take a "project" and a "vet pg" in the deal (both have 2 yrs or less on their contracts)?

    I can dream can't I?

Houston trades: PG Reece Gaines (2.6 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 0.3 apg in 10.8 minutes)
PG Charlie Ward (5.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 25.7 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (7.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
Houston receives: C Brian Grant (3.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.2 apg in 15.5 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -12.5 ppg, -4.7 rpg, and -4.6 apg.

L.A. Lakers trades: C Brian Grant (3.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.2 apg in 15.5 minutes)
L.A. Lakers receives: PG Reece Gaines (2.6 ppg, 1.1 rpg, 0.3 apg in 10.8 minutes)
PG Charlie Ward (5.4 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.1 apg in 25.7 minutes)
PF Maurice Taylor (7.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 1.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +12.5 ppg, +4.7 rpg, and +4.6 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Houston and L.A. Lakers being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and L.A. Lakers had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I don't know, but i have the same feeling as you. I think we might have seen Mo Taylor's last game as a Rocket. I know this isn't a popular thing to say on this board but in my opinion Mo is going to get better sooner rather than later and i really hope he can contribute to whatever team he's going to. If in fact he is going elsewhere.

he may not have been put on the IL with the intention of trading him, however after playing so well without him i think that we may take the next trade that comes up for him... good or bad.

still, i doubt anything happens. :(

Man I can't believe JVG punked MoTaylor with the Flu IR. 610 was having a feild day with that one.

IMO Mo Taylor hates JVG cause he traded away the entire rockets family xpt for Yao and MoT. Yao is depressed and MoT has no one to smoke out with. You know him an Cato woudl get high and talk about the moment Rudy T signs their big contract. They felt like real NBA players at that moment. Their career highlight, their zenith as players.

Mo Taylor finishes the story of his signing day with a trip to the Jewelers so that he can finally get rid of his fake 15 carat diamond necklaceand actually purchase a new 10ct diamond necklace and two single ct studs for his ears.
