Would this have anything to do with O'Reilly's affinity for Spongebob's distant cousin, Loofah-lou Rhombusknickers?

First they came for Bert and Ernie

...and I said nothing because I was not a Muppet.

Then they came for Tinky Winky, and I said nothing, because I was not a Teletubby.

Then they came for Sponge Bob and Patrick, and I said nothing, because I was not an asexual cartoon sea creature.

I'm just wondering who'll be the next target of the Righteous Conservative Wrath Against Imaginary Creatures...

Why can't the conservatives go after something truly offensive.

Pro wrestlers! I find it offensive to see big, hairy, sweaty guys rolling around and beating each other up; all the time wearing Speedo briefs. Yuck!

I was watching CNN Headline News this morning and they talked about the Sponge Bob story a little. This story has been covered to death but I soon found out why they were talking about it this early in the morning.

Some guys in the CNN graphics department gave Sponge Bob a red state makeover. Picture Bob with a mullet, a NASCAR cap, thick eye brows instead of the eye lashes, a wife beater, blue jeans, boots, and a beer in his hand. It was hilarious, I have to find this picture.

We just need more of Jesus Christs' teachings in public schools and it would be a good thing!...

Whether bewildered or flabergasted, the teachings are a great direction of conduct, such as tolerance indeed, love, respect, honor, sharing, giving...

Jesus Christ's teachings should be embraced by public schools, I don't care if you take the religion out including names. Inspire the teachings and my side is well enough in regards of success.

Public schools are not in the business of teaching morality.

Last I checked, public schools define proper acts of right versus wrong behavior to varying degrees...

    ROXRAN...

so who's version of Bible interpretation would public schools embrace? And how about kids who have parents reading the Torah? Scientology? The Book of Mormon? We have some nice Mormons on this board, you know, and the Book of Mormon is a *whole* lot different from the Bible.

If public schools adopted a version where you used a strict interpretation, where the world was created in six days, sons returning to live with their parents were to be killed, God is angry and punative (in some passages)... I wouldn't let my kid near a public school.
