I can now go OUT of the country!!! I went to one of the U.S. '94 games, so a 12-year wait is worth it! I'm down for at least 6 tickets to ANY game! I want to go and would like to argue my best with my wife to allow me to shell out money for at least 4 tickets to any game, even if MEXICO isn't playing in it... Who's making plans or at least WANTS to buy tickets? Share the enthusiasm... ---- please merge if it has been mentioned
I WANT to go. Although, it'd be no fun going without my dad and gramps, and I don't know that we'd be able to plan a trip to go. Although, if we could though, that'd be so totally ****ing sweet. I think we may hold out for South Africa though, in 2010, so the 3 of us can go together.
Germany is a great place to be in the summer. Very nice weather. The beer gardens in the afternoon/evenings are awesome, especially the ones in Munich.
The World Cup is one of my favorite sports events, and I don't even like soccer that much. I would love to check it out in person.
I went to a soccer match in Riode Janiero, Brazil at Maracana Stadium and it was the best soccer match that I have ever been to. I can imagine how awesome this is going to be.
i have some 2nd cousins in germany that have been trying organize a cousin World Cup excursion for the past few years. i'm probably going to study abroad in spain this summer, so i'm not too sure if i'll have the neccessary funds to make 2 summer trips to europe back-to-back, but you better believe i'm gonna try. I enjoy soccer, i would LOVE to see the passion the rest of the owlrd has for it first hand. my parents went to the Italy-France game during the '98 WC in France and they said it was amazing, especially since it went to PK's.
You didn't even go to the site, did you...? I keep typing : mad : everytime I respond to you, mate... sorry! I believe it will be explained further here: http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/tickets/overview.html

I would love to go to Germany but with Dental school in my near future and my wife's nursing school (+ kids) it will not work unless a miracle happens. Of course I would be rooting for my motherland and USA on ESPN if I cannot make it. I used to live in Germany and it would have been nice to use the opportunity to see my friends in Hamburg, Bremen and also make a quick swing through London and my former stumping ground, Amsterdam. But as for South Africa 2010 - I will be there by the grace of God. Oh I am so going to South Africa only a force majeure will stop me. Journey mercies to those going to Deutchland for WC 2006. Go Super Eagles!!! God Speed!!!
