This is pretty damn sad becuase of the new NBA divisions one of these sorry teams is going to make the playoffs. If it wasn't for the new rules none of them would even be in the playoffs! Anyways I want to know whos gona get LUCKY and land the #3 spot in the east? It wide open right now because the NJ Nets are just 4.5 games behind the division leading Sixers. Im gona go with NY they have the most talent of all the other teams. They just have to learn to play together.

Heres how its looking right now:

ATLANTIC W L PCT GB Conf Div Home Road L 10 Streak
    Philadelphia(3) 19 21 0.475 0.0 13-9 4-2 10-7 9-14 5-5 Won 1
    Boston 19 22 0.463 0.5 12-14 3-4 13-6 6-16 5-5 Won 1
    Toronto 18 24 0.429 2.0 8-13 4-4 15-5 3-19 7-3 Won 1
    New York 17 24 0.415 2.5 9-15 4-5 11-11 6-13 1-9 Lost 7
    New Jersey 15 26 0.366 4.5 12-13 3-3 9-9 6-17 4-6 Lost 2

That's not true; they would be the 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th seeds respectively, so the new rules are giving them an unfair #3 seed, but the way things are so far, the winner of the division would probably be the 8th seed under old rules.

With Dalembert, Kenny Thomas and Iverson they should win the division, the Knicks don't have a coach, New Jersey lost their best player for the year (which btw worst trade in rockets history Eddie Griffin Deal), Toronto doesnt have a go-to-guy (Bosh or Mo Pete aren't yet), and Boston has no front court and cant match Philly inside.

On a similar not, look at our division. Even while dragging the pitiful hornets, our division has the most wins out of all the divisions.

I voted for Boston because they seem to the toughest when push comes to shove but my Sleeper is NJ Nets especially if they can pull-out the all important trade for Maurice Taylor and maybe move J Kidds for Nene, Andre Miller and White.

An Atlantic team making the 3rd seed is BS. They just need to scrap divisions and stick to conferences.

If an Atlantic team actually makes the playoffs and keeps a team with a better record out of the playoffs Stern will have to re-evaluate this stupid seeding by division.

Exactly, if AI was to go down that team is gona tank the season. Just not enough depth, IMO. I chose NY because they have the talent on their roster to take off at any time. Theres alot of season left to play & i just think by the time its up they will get over their selfish play.

There will only be one team from the Atlantic division in the playoffs, and that's the No. 3 seed. So you see it's No. 3 seed or bust.
