It seems like Strawberry is afraid of dying and is trying to get as much partying in as possible before his time comes. ------------------ I am the b*stard son of LHutz. Huh? Right!
Damn, Straw used to be one of my favorite players growing up. It's a shame to seem him throwing his life away on the sauce. ------------------ Life at work is like a tree full of monkeys, all on different limbs at different levels. Some monkeys are climbing up, some down. The monkeys on top look down and see a tree full of smiling faces...the monkeys on the bottom look up and see nothing but a$$holes!!!!
It ain't the sauce. It's da krill. You put the letter R for ROCK in the middle of the word KILL and you get KRILL. It's the little white rock that can kill you deader than a doornail. ------------------ I am the b*stard son of LHutz. Huh? Right!
I dont know why I`m still shocked that Straw got busted again......It seems everytime this happens I say "OK,he`s learned his lesson and now he`ll straighten out" I am dumbfounded at this guy,I remember seeing him in Sports Ill when they did an article about him coming out of high school and followed him his whole career.......all I can say is.......DAMN ------------------
TAMPA, Fla. -- Troubled baseball star Darryl Strawberry was arrested Wednesday on charges he failed a drug test and violated curfew during his sentence on a drug charge. Strawberry was arrested at a private treatment center in Tampa and booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, said C. J. Drake, a spokesman for the Florida Department of Corrections in Tallahassee. He said Strawberry tested positive for cocaine use. Strawberry violated curfew by being away from the treatment center from 11 p.m. Saturday until about 3 a.m. Sunday, said Drake. "Mr. Strawberry was absent without our permission from the treatment center over the weekend," said Drake. "When he returned we administered a drug test and it tested positive for cocaine." He said Strawberry was then arrested "without incident. Mr. Strawberry was very cooperative." Strawberry was held without bail. An afternoon news conference was planned at the state probation office in Tampa. In September, the suspended Yankees star was sentenced to two years' house arrest after admitting he violated probation by driving under the influence of medication and by leaving the scene of an accident. Strawberry, who is fighting the spread of colon cancer, could have been sent to prison for that violation. His legal status will be determined after his probation office files a report with the judge who sentenced him in September. Drake said that report was expected to be filed Wednesday afternoon. ------------------
