    RETIRE YOU b*stard!

Malone decision coming in week or two

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/3351274

Karl Malone is a week or two away from making a decision about his professional future. And at least right now, that future doesn't include the NBA.

According to a report in the Los Angeles Times, Malone is moving closer to retirement. The former Jazz and Lakers player's agent, Dwight Manley, told the paper that's certainly the direction Malone is leaning toward.

"Probably toward retirement, just because that's what he is right now, theoretically," Manley said. "Things usually go the direction of where you're at."

Malone is the second-leading scorer in NBA history, with 36,928 points in his career — just 1,459 fewer than Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Much of the speculation regarding Malone's future has focused on two career goals — catching Abdul-Jabbar and winning the NBA championship that has eluded him throughout his many years in the league.

Malone has appeared in three NBA Finals, only to come up short each time. The most recent — last season with the Lakers — was particularly disappointing for him, as L.A. was defeated in five games by the Pistons while an injured Malone sat on the bench in street clothes.

But according to Manley, Malone's health is not a factor in the decision. The agent told the paper that his client is physically in great shape, but that he just wants to "get this thing figured out one way or the other."

I hope he retires. I don't want him to win any awards, whether it be the all time scoring champ, or a ring. Hopefully he retires.

I said back in July he was finished because of the leg, and I think he's finally figuring it out too. No way was he ever going to be able to come back at even 80%.

At least this spares another desparate attempt to piggy back a title contender for a ring.

I hope he breaks his hip and falls down and then a bunch of tiny dogs run over and start pee-ing on him and he cries gravy.

He'll just dangle this out so we all think he's retiring only to come back for another year. Satan never retires.

Karl Malone was a great player, a fierce competitor, the greatest power forward ever!!!

I hope he joins Miami or San Antonio, that way he can finally obtain a championship.

I think malone is a great player, and If he were to somehow land on the Rockets squad people would be praising the man.

I hope he does win a title and beat Kareem's record....

And I am not at all a Jazz fan!
