What sport could over take Soccer as most popular?

    No,because of it's simplicity, one ball and a small field, soccer is more available to a greater number of people than other sports. It is the familiarity of the masses that creates the popularity, not the game itself.

    That and the fact that it is the only major sport that can be played by little boys and girls with no arms.

    I hear it's passed up soccer as a fan sport in the US.

    Seriously, though, I've tried watching soccer at least 4 or 5 times... could not stand watching it. I don't know why, but I just can't bear to watch it. I think I've given up trying. lol. :D
