The Pats, in a walk, 20-7. The Pats are playing like a well oiled machine, and Bill Bellichik is the best head coach in the NFL. New England has a chip on it's shoulder the size of Plymouth Rock. They've won 2 out of the last 3 Super Bowls, and still nobody is taking them seriously. Perhaps they will be taken seriously after they win the Super Bowl again this year, which they will.

Patriots not effected by cold. Same style of offense. Patriots have experience. Patriots 27 Pittsburgh 17.

Pittsburgh's only chance. if Pittsburgh comes out in 4wr set Pittsburgh will win. But that's not gonna happen. They've won too many games griniding it out. Maddox is dangerous in an open offense too. He's an x factor.

I think the opposite. Pittsburgh is going to come out and try to run the ball 30-35 times. Thats what they do.

I think the Patriots will spread it out and go 4 wides. I think they will still run from that formation though. Bellichek knows that he can't lineup in the I formation and run on the Steelers, even though the Steelers are missing a pro bowl Defensive tackle. you have to spread them out to run on them.

'Berger gets hurt in the first half.

Maddox comes in and rallies Pitt to the win.

Game is won on a 39 yard FG.

The Patriots are the reigning champions until someone knocks them off. Unfortunately for the Steelers, it won't be this week. If the Pat defense, minus their best defensive backs, could humble Peyton worse than last year, what makes you think they won't do the same to Big Ben. If Bellichek wins the Super Bowl this season, he is without a doubt the greatest NFL head coach. Ever. Period. In an era of free agency and the salary cap, winning three Super Bowls would be an unbelievable (and unmatchable) feat.
    Patriots 13-7.

I have a real problem with this statement.

What has Belichick done outside of New England?

And more specifically, what has he done without his current staff around him?

His body of work in this 4 year time frame is amazing, it's a terrific start, and if he keeps on winning he could certainly vault himself into consideration for top coach all time.

I'm high on coaches who have success with different players, staffs, and at different locales, I think that takes a lot more skill in the long run. I also think super bowl and playoff wins are overvalued in terms of determining coach and player greatness.

This is also why I'm not too big on Tom Brady. Let's see how that kid does without Charlie Weis and that defense supporting him.

    Go Pats!!!

The defense will stop the rookie Ben like they stop Manning

NE is going to win the Super Bowl also.

I have a hard time picking against the Steelers in this game. Their 15-1 record is too hard to ignore in my opinion, and they already played a terrible playoff game and still won it.

    Steelers 27
    Pats 16

The Steelers won last playoff game because the Jets did more errors than the Jets (missed 2 FG, one on the last play of the 4th quarter)
