If the Rockets picked him up, I would cease to watch them. Period.

Some things are more important than basketball.

Woods is a SF who has yet to show anything in this league. He had a lot of potential coming out of JuCo. This guy doesn't deserve to play in this league right now. Let him be the loser he is.

that's one horrendously wrong breakdown. getting the skills or the character wrong is one thing, but missing both big time is solid work.

NBAdraft.net is a joke. Their NBA comparison is absolutely hilarious.

Eddie was the next Duncan, Boki was the next Peja, and the one that cracks me up the most:

    Mike Dunleavy, Jr.
    Birthdate: 9/15/80
    NBA Position: Small Forward
    College: Duke
    Class: Junior
    Ht: 6-9
    Wt: 220
    Hometown: Lake Oswego, OR
    High School: Jesuit

NBA Comparison: Larry Bird

    But there is always hope....

    Vassilis Spanoulis
    Birthdate: 7/8/82
    NBA Position: Point Guard
    Ht: 6-4
    Wt: 188
    European Team: Maroussi B.C.
    Hometown: Greece
    Telebasket Profile
    2002 Euro U-20 Profile

    NBA Comparison: Steve Nash

But to answer your question. I'm gonna say there was no harm done in picking up Boki over Woods.

    Woods Career: 3.1ppg 1.6rpg .5apg
    Boki's Career: 3.3ppg 1.7rpg .6apg

They're both not on their original teams, but atleast Boki is still playing right now.

Qyntel does have some talent probably more than Nachbar but he seems unstable. I think he will get another chance but probably not with us.

    Qyntel Woods anybody?

I think that the Rockets should definitely look into signing this guy. He's young, athletic, and has a great body for the 3.

I agree, we've had worst guys here before....so giving this kid achance can't hurt, and if he pans out, TMac can move back to the 2 and Woods can handle the 3.....maybe this is our redemption for EG.....

You know who does care though? Les "Card Carrying Member of PETA" Alexander. Guess whose opinion on the subject is relevant? :D

Les and his wife are divorced, but if I'm not mistaken, Les is a member of PETA as well. He's just not quite as militant as his former wife. I actually want to say that I read that she is vegan and he's a vegetarian, but don't quote me on that because I'm just throwing out some vague recollection I could have somehow imagined. :D

I was thinking about posting about Qyntel, but seeing has he has barely scratched the court during his time in the NBA, I figured I wouldn't waste time discussing it.

Why not? There's alot of positive individual on this team not like the Blazers. He could turn it around here in a year, and we could easily lock him up to a cheap contract.

What makes you think he's any good though?

It certainly hasn't been his play, or his attitude.
