Now that JJ has been traded to the Suns, he's going to take out all his anger against the Rox next time they meet. With a roster like the Suns, JJ will have no problem taking it to JVG. March 11th guys....watch out!! It's gonna be a good game.
How long do you think JJ will last the way they run? He will be out of gas before the playoffs even start. And that is if he even gets in the damn game.
I haven't checked lately, but prior to the trade JJ was shooting better 3 pt percentage than Wesley. I don't imagine Wesley's shooting has helped his percentage. All JJ has to do is play is normal game and he's already beat the guy he was traded for.
OK, but the Rockets were 13-14 with JJ and are 9-4 with Wesley. I liked JJ and I know Wesley is slumping right now, but when JJ was here, we had nothing even resembling a fast break. Of the 27 games with JJ this year, we broke 100 five times. In the 13 games with Wesley, we've already matched that total, not including three times we've hit 98 points. Even if Wesley isn't hitting his shots, he at least knows how to push the ball up the court which is what we've all been screaming for for 2 years. That's something JJ never brought to the table.
Who's he going to get his revenge on? He's played for every NBA team. Hey I saw Jimmy Jackson the other day, He was sporting this jacket. [
weslet can't shoot, but he meshes better with Tmac oh yeah.. and he goes 2 for 7 - he stops shooting JJ would start 1 for 9 ( and take even more shots)
I bet everyone else would agree with me when I say that I hope JJ takes shots away from Johnson, Q, Marion, Nash, and Amare. Regarding JJ vs Wesley: I've noticed that Wesley is a more respected shooter. His defender runs out on him much faster than they did for JJ. We rarely see teams double off of him. Seemed like the defenses were daring JJ to shoot this year, which bogs down the other players when he's not hitting.
I agree about the comments of having other players on the Sun's offence that will get more playing time than JJ will.
