Very well said. You just summarized my sentiments about that game aptly.

That's exactly what I thought. Towards the end of the game, Francis recklessly drove to the basket a few times hoping the refs bailed him out and when they didn't, he took his frustration out on Sura. Intensity is a great thing when focused but when it's not focused it can be pretty ugly.

The guy can be incredibly great on one play and look like an overzealous inexperienced lunkhead the next. And again, that showed last night. I don't know if Francis will ever get it.

Does anyone know of the Orlando Magic board? I wonder if they are saying the same things our bbs have been sying about Stevie the last several years?

    Francis is a punk.

Did you see him pull Sura down while Francis was on the floor whining about a non call?

Francis is pure BIATCH, and glad he is someone else's dog now.

The Rockets controlled this game from the start. If Francis could have held Sura in check, they may have had this game. But he didn't, and there's nothing that can be said about it. Do we claim Sura to be an elite defender that can control Francis? Uhhh no. It was Francis lack of defense that lost the game - IMO.

I guess some of you guys haven't watched Sura play this season. After spraining Carmello's ankle on a needless hard foul in the first match up with the Nuggets that sidelined Anthony for a few games he got into with Anthony in the second meeting because of fouling him hard. And Anthony and Steve aren't the only players Sura has been seen jawing with this season. I like Sura's hard-nosed play but that guy attracts altercations. But I know, I know, it had to be all Steve's fault. I mean, it always is.

    Pgab,

Hard fouls are not even close to pulling someone down by the ankle as they run by.....that is blatent and could injure someone.

Having a hard foul where you don't let them get the ball up for a shot is much different.

    Apples to Oranges.

You keep on apologizing for that punk.

I still don't like this trade. Francis seems to play with more passion than TMac, eventhough TMac has more skills i still would like to have Francis, Mobley, and Cato in our team. I think the team we have right now is not the awnser for a long term winning formula, specially since most of the Knicks... I mean Rockets players we have are really old.

Anyone notice that the Rockets have not been drafting fiery guys lately.

    Even Griffin was low key.

I think everyone is so busy looking for the next Tim Duncan that the Richard Jeffereson's just slip on by...

No MadMax the point is none of know what was said on the court. But I'm sure you're just as objective as I am.

And I hope you're not criticizing Francis for his comments about whatever happened because I would bet that the former Rocket you chose to honor in your moniker would have a similar reaction.

Look, I'm glad Carroll and Les got rid of Francis. He never fit with us on offense and he was just a selfish b*stard w/ the ball. He might be a nice person on the outside world, but he's an employee of the Rockets organization. He didn't do his job, so we had to relocate his ass.

Bringing T-Mac in has given us a proven scorer at the 2 and a good combo at PG (Sura and Wesley). I'm also liking how they are incorporating Yao into the offense. Francis never did that. I don't care if it was under JVG's slow offense. T-Mac was able to gain control of the offense from JVG. Francis didn't have the balls to even ask or try.

He had the balls, but I don't think he had the talent to make a steve-favored offense work.

I have no idea what your point is, but Sura did injure Anthony and then had an altercation with him the next match-up. The only point is no one knows what they were jawing about but Sura's no Saint.

I m sorry, orlando has one of the best offensive game in the league.

I'll say Tmac doesnt have the talent to make a tracy-favored offense work

Anyone who recorded the game knows what they were jawing about. While Francis was on the floor, he deliberately reached out and tripped Sura.

Interesting how you always state your own limited perception of things as the absolute truth (no one knows...).

Francis comments were silly. It is moronic to say that the most technical fouls is what makes a person not a punk or sucker. That was just plain silly.

At the same time it isn't more moronic than what many players including some on our team now have said or done.

That's why the Rockets are 21-19 in the tough Western Conference, not the sorry Leastern Conference.

    I'll stick w/ T-Mac's favored offense work.
