I am 26yrs old and for the first time, I got a cell phone from my g/f for x-mas and I didn't realize how essential it is to have one. I have never carried or own a cell phone before b/c I just didn't find any good reason to, and it would be a waste of money considering i'm not the type of person that talk a lot on a phone. I mean most of my time is spent at home or at work so those people that needs to get a hold of me could reach me there. Secondly, the people that I hangout with on weekends and stuff already have a cell phone,so it just defeats the purpose for me to own one. Well, just the other night as I was coming home from a co-worker's wedding late at night, I ended up getting a flat tire in the middle of nowhere and it was dark and freezing... no big deal, I will just change to a spare tire and be on my way. As I was taking out the spare in the trunk, something had struck my mind...like something isn't right here, but I couldn't clearly think what it was. I went ahead and take out the first lug, thats when I finally realize that my after market wheels uses a diffrent lug size than those of the spare which uses a smaller lugs. of course, I didn't keep my original lugs in the car, so I'm screwed. I was gettiing scared all alone by myself and had no choice but to call someone from the wedding to pick up and bring me back there and waited to go home with another co-worker. I wonder what would happen if I didn't have a cell phone with me? Sure I could've waited in the car and wait for someone to help me, but I haven't seen a single car pass by..it was pretty deserted. Who knows what would've happen. So are there still some people who actually don't care for cell phone and never have the needs to get one?
I had a cell phone for 18 months, and used it a total of 30 hours course, if I had friends, I probably would have used it more..
wow, i have had a cellphone for over 5 years, and speak over 2000 minutes a month on it and i stutter. lol.
