DTS production model set to debut at Chicago Auto Show

DETROIT - Americans will get an idea of what Cadillac’s newest model will look like when President Bush rides down Pennsylvania Avenue on Thursday.

Bush will take part in the inaugural parade in a jet-black, Cadillac DTS limousine produced by General Motors Corp. It will provide a glimpse of the design direction of the mass produced version of the 2006 DTS.

“General Motors and Cadillac are proud to write this latest chapter in American automotive history,” said GM Chairman and Chief Executive Rick Wagoner in a new release Friday.

GM will introduce the production version of the DTS at next month’s Chicago Auto Show.

You know, the first time, I agreed with the protesting and egg throwing because of the circumstances of that election. This time around, I still don't like him one bit but he won fair and square and I don't think its right for people to act the same way this time around.

    Same here.

I guess people have a right to express themselves, but it wouldn't really be very validated, or appropriate.

People have a right to express themselves, period. The minority is allowed to speak.

But that does mean protest, not throw eggs. That's bush.

Yes, protests are allowed - they're talking about it on the NewsHour right now. Groups have signed up to protest, and I think they just said it's along the parade route, too.

Other groups are expected to pop up, but the Secret Service hopes things remain peaceful.

Who's sponsoring the inauguration this year anyway? Dominos? Pepsi? Levitra?

Like the new Limo. But my favorite new Caddy is that STS-V. Ton of horsepower and a damned fine looking body. Finally, they put a blower on that sweet Northstar plant.

As for the protestors, I hope they freeze and have to suffer cavity searches at the hands of guards with cattle prods. Stupid communist nut Michael Moore clones. Sore losers. I could go on and on......But that is why I was banned from the D&D.....So I'll stop.:D

Shouldn't someone get capped for that? I mean, the egg or snowball could be hiding anthrax or something.
