NBA.com, Standings Problem

    It looks like NBA.com does not want Houston to be in the 8th spot? The Wolves lost last night and should be 19-19. If you look at the standings, they show that they lost one game but they gave them a game in the win column instead of the loss column. This should be a good thread for the conspiracy theorists.

    I think in light of this serious issue, I will HAVE to lob a call to my good friend David Stren and tell him to get this fixed !

    Go to yahoo sports they have the Rockets in 8th and minn in 9th

    According to NBA rules,

    19w-19l > 20w-19l
    0.51282051282051282051282051282051... > .5

    I think it's subsection 5 of paragraph 2 of rule 12234, amendment 3.

    Um, there's not a problem on there now...it takes some time for all of those things to update on nba.com; it's not in real-time and the playoff rankings are even further behind usually. Plus, it's January...what exactly does it matter now?
