I just saw a sneak preview tonight. The movie was pretty ridiculous and the plot was silly, but overall it was pretty funny. Having a young audience or one with an easy laugh button will be a plus. If you're having a bad day, it might cheer you up; if you're feeling good, the movie will be even better. So I'll give it a 7 out of 10: one of the better SNL movies to come out, but not great. Go into it with a sense of humor and you'll have lots of fun.
SNL movies are typically sorry, but for whatever reason, maybe I was caught on a good day, I like that one about the Ninja with Chris Farley. That movie had me laughing. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I saw it last night, and it was pretty funny. Especially considering it was an SNL movie, with the likes of Its Pat: The Movie, Night at the Roxbury, Coneheads, etc as its predecessors. Tim Meadow's is a funny man, and its too bad he's leaving SNL, being one of the last remnants from the early-nineties gang. "You're a homosexual, which is cool. But trying to rub oil all over my body, that is definatley not cool" ------------------ We don't live for the destination. We live for the journey. http://www.clutchtown.com
I got a question. On the SNL show the Lady's Man is supposed to get all these chicks, but in the ads for the movie it looks like he's a loser. What's the deal? I want my Lady's Man to be a real strong representin' Lady's Man. ------------------ I have a dream.........his name's Hakeem. DREAMer's Rocket Page
In the movie, he gets ALL the chicks. "The woman for you should be...,...,... and single." "Yeth, that would be good thith time."
