WTF? Remember, this is Chad Ford...

    From Insider...

    WHO INTERESTED THE SKINNY

    Steve Francis
    Magic

    Nuggets?

Jan. 17 - Francis still remains in denial about the split from his long-term pal, Cuttino Mobley, in the recent trade witht the Kings. And he's upset about being moved to two guard, Chad Ford reports. GM John Weisbrod has been looking to make this move since the summer and would be willing to move Francis as well if he doesn't make the switch.

Ford reports that according to one league source, the Nuggets recently offered the Magic Andre Miller, Nikoloz Tskitishvili and Voshon Lenard in a trade for Francis. While the team said no, that could change if Francis doesn't get with the program.

I know they rejected the deal.

But it might lead to other teams wanting Francis. The Nuggets are the 1st to offer.

Francis and Anthony would be fist fighting over shots within days.

As an aside, I really hate how often the press runs stories based on one team calling another with a lopsided trade that gets them a dailtone. This really happens way too often.

It's half-amusing reading articles about the same rumor from papers in the two cities. Or reading Chad Ford put out absolute garbage.

I would say no to that offer from the Nuggets as well.

If they are really serious on landing Francis they will have to up their offer in order to make the Magic GM blink. A three way trade that will send Nene to a team that could use him like Phoenix and subsequent sending who ever you receive in return to Orlando + 1st rounder + Andre Miller then maybe Orlando will reconsider.

Anyway Chad Ford put a small clause in this rumour as he always does (in order to save face if it does not happen). He said Orlando is only considering it if Francis does not get with Wesibrod's philosophy and program. I took that Chad Ford "extra" with a tablespoon of salt.

CHad Ford.....yep. Lot's of credibility there, it must be true.

Team said no....doubt they'll ever make a trade like that.
