Hey all, As some of you may know, I opened a Rockets site earlier this year. It's called The Houston Rockets Space Center. It's grown quite a bit, and I even have some guys from the BBS who joined the page. They've all been a great help, and have made updating the page more enjoyable. The point of this post is not to plug my site, but to ask for a favor. I decided to open the site for two reasons: 1) I love the Rockets 2) I need "creativity" hours for a school programme. They need to total about 50 hours, which I have surpassed by far. Anyway, seeing that I can't really prove that the site has been worked on consistently, I ask that some of you guys add testimonies which I can use for my final report. Please be sincere about your comments, and plese mention the consistency of the site, the improvements in went through in terms of design, and anything else that might be worthy of note. If the comments are negative, I can't promise that you'll find a space in the report. Oh, by the way, my name is Alex. Just in case. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Come on, guys. Help me out here! ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone. We're that and more!
speed: loads quickly appearance: neat and clean but font size too small usability: easy to navigate content: well written articles nice site Ace, I added it to my favorites list. But you need a domain name or at least use a free forwarding service to make welcome.to/spacecenter or go.to/houstonrockets see this site for details: http://www.v3.com/v3home.asp [This message has been edited by outlaw (edited October 01, 2000).]
Alex your site is great. It has ORIGINAL graphics, articles, and ideas. It has an easy to remember url ClutchTown.com and easy navigation. I've even noticed that the SC that you use on your graphics is now used by Sports Center. I think that they saw your site and copied it . I'm even using my 100th post to talk about it! ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online
Thanks for the comments. For the regular visitors (if any), could you please say something about how the site indeed keeps up with the latest news and has gone through positive changes in terms of design? That's the kind of thing that needs to be heard on my report. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) To be very honest, I haven't had enough time to surf Rockets sites other than cc.net and SOR for a while now, but your site really has come a ways from its beginnings. I like the layout and graphics. They really come across nice. I like the stories as well. You have a good grasp of what is going on and provide solid links. As far as I can tell, you haven't missed much as far as Rockets news since you started. A very nice job overall. ------------------ Save Our Rockets and Comets SaveOurRockets.com
he does it's www.ClutchTown.com Alex your site is great the amount of time that must have gone into that site is huge. It has a great layout and looks really cool.
Ace, - nice appearance, easy on the eyes - up to-date, consistent information - well-written articles - user-friendly, and loads quickly - good links Overall, a really well-done site that deserves our props, Ace. I'm glad I've been able to help. Keep up the good work. Azim da Dream ------------------ We don't live for the destination. We live for the journey. http://www.clutchtown.com
Ace, Azim has this one down. The site is great, like ClutchCity, but maintains it's own level of originality. The articles and layout are both very nice, and it also loads very quickly. Nice links too. Overall, a superb job. ------------------ Looking for next year's Dan Langhi? Draftsource.net ClutchTown.com http://www.noarena.net OU SUCKS!!!
Thanks for the favor, guys. I changed the messages a little, by adding Alex (my name) and removing Ace. Tomorrow is the deadline... I also provided your email addresses, so if anyone contacts you about the site just tell them that I told the truth and I actually created it. LOL. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone. We're that and more!
Oh, one more thing. Some members sent me some hate mail (?) saying that this was probably some ploy to get more hits. For those of you in doubt, this is not the case. I seriously needed those testimonies. Thanks for those who left messages. I do want hits, but I wouldn't lie to get them. ------------------ Nederland 2002 Qualifying Campaign (Damn those penalties!!!) Houston Rockets Space Center- Not just another ClutchCity.NET clone.
