    Oh....dis!

But I actually think this would fit in the NBA dish forum better as it involves the NBA but just not the rockets in particular.

The other one was over two pages long and it should either be in the BBS Hangout or NBA Dish

oh quit quibling guys, this thread is in the right forum now.

A fantasy league has nothing to do with NBA dish.

I will answer the topic too, harumphh.

i may have changed it, and I definitely will after the preseason, but ...

    Francis
    Atkins
    Mercer
Hughes? I'm not sure who the 4th one is.

    Webber
    K Martin
    R Lewis
    B. Grant

    Cato
    J Oneal

it seems to me that most of you guys havnt played small world before. im not dissing you guys, but you will find that picking your favorite player is usually the worst thing to do. but than again wouldnt it be fun to make a team up of all your favorite players.

as far as seeing other peoples teams, you can do that by looking at your division (inside of small world) just click on which ever team you want to see. i know its less "social" than this, but it is easier.

FYI my team is CHEESE, but it will change before the season starts, and often.

here is the best hints for small world:

first of all know your source. ive won several small world divisions. mainly basketball, but also football and hockey. i actually finished in the top 1000 of the entire small world hockey system last year out of over 250,000.

ok this is what you do. pick guys on crappy teams. they always get lots of minutes. you cant contribute if you dont play. pick up guys that have bad attitudes, and are ball hogs. the larry hughes of the world will never win championships, but will win smallworld.
larry hughes is a great example, because he was useless and cheap when he was in philly, so i bought him as soon as i heard he would be traded. his numbers went up so his value went up. i than sold him as his smallworld hype died down and his value dropped. with the prophet i made, i bought the next guy i thought would go up. i also did well when barkley was injured, and harrington got time. he was verry profitable. so what this teaches you is to watch trades and major injuries. so when tim hardaway goes down hurt pick up carter, the back up guard. also, if everyone is droping someone, i suggest you do too, because you never want your roster value to drop. you start with 50 mill, and are gonna nedd about 80 mill to win the division, and over 100 mill to win the league. if you have to choose between KG, and tim duncan, KG will put up better #s, but if duncan plays 4 times this week while KG has 3 games, than duncan is the man.
i know this seems like alot to learn, but there is much more. and you are wondering if this is a full time job or something. well its not, but the more time you spend at it the better you will do. especially later in the season when guys like me get bored, and go snowboarding too often to stay inside and sit in front of my compiuter.

    *PEACE
