Anybody hear the status of T-Mac/Sura for this game. I would prefer to sit them out for this game if they can benefit from 3 days rest. It's a long season and I would concede a game to the best team in the league if it would benefit T-Mac/Sura to rest them.

Can you beat the 90's AST with the Rox?

Yao finally shouts, "Give me the damn ball!" after a couple of embarrassing offensive put backs and dunks over him by the Spurs. Rockets starts their glorious journey from that moment on, and then they live together happily ever after:D

Ok, back to reality. We win after a team effort, everybody contributes. Yao starts hot, T-Mac takes over in the middle, then they both shine to close the Spurs out.

    95 : 90 Rockets.

Rockets lose because Sura freezes Yao out while taking 21 shot attemps... TMac takes even more :( :(

No way - First of all, like Crash Davis (Costner) said in Bull Durham "Never F**k with a winning streak". Secondly, to give up a game to the Spurs, I don't think so. T-mac's incredible comeback has got to at least have them taking us seriously. Another win and they may start to think we have their number. Rox are Spurs daddy. :p

This is a defining moment in the season for this team. If they come out and play hard and win this, it will say a lot of good things about our chemistry and our future this year. If they play competitively down to the wire and lose I think it shows we may be headed to the playoffs but are not really ready to go up against the big boys. If we get blown out then we are probably headed to a battle down to the last couple games to determine whether we get in the playoffs or miss them altogether.

I look for a hard effort with Sura playing more blood and guts like he has been. But I don't think we have the answer for the Spurs unless Yao steps up and plays like he is capable of playing, not just satisified in being second fiddle to TMac. Until Yao establishes that he feels he is a bonafide superstar in this league, we are just gonna be a little bit short. Hopefully, Yao comes out extremely agggressive and takes it to the Spurs.

The Rockets do not match up well with the Spurs at every position but center and maybe small forward (because bowen is so good defensively and tmac is injured, tmac might be neutralized). If Yao steps up and dominates in this game, we win. If not, we lose.

i don't think this game is as important as next one agains Memphis. Spurs will be in the top 3 anyway, so we should beat those teams after 6th spot.

So what I mean is this is a game we can offord, just wish they don't play that bad since SA always gives us big trouble.

How do u play go defense on nba live 2005 at super star level... its the most annoying thing in the world. I broke my controller after trying... anywayz... i hope t mac and sura can get healthy and play the rest of the season b/c that back court is doing things that are amazing and suprisingly at least in my opinion is way better than Francis and Mobley of last year

You can't stop some players. Like Finley and Stojakovic.

I find it frustrating that McGrady can miss a wide open 3 pointer, but Finley can make a fade away jumper with two men on him.

NBA Live sucks anyways. ESPN Basketball is better, even though neither are that good.

    ESPN College Hoops is amazing.

Well, we have a chance considering that we are at home and San Antonio is away. SA is 19-1 at home, and 11-7 on the road.

Another sluggish start by Yao... still choosing to fade away, instead of going up strong and trying to draw contact.

always need a strong heart to watch Yao's game. You never know which Yao would show up and when he would in those 48 minutes. :(

2 turnovers from Yao and 2 misses from Yao.

Until Yao gets his skills back, the Rockets would be dumbasses to pass the ball to Yao unless it was for an easy dunk.

Well we got Yao his touches but we haven't got anything out of it :( Do we still go to Yao? If they don't people will call them "selfish". I say T-mac take over offensively, and slowly pick Yao out once in awhile to catch them off gaurd. They know we will pound it into Yao first, why not let T-mac create and try to get Yao easy baskets. Let's see how good of a coach JVG is after this first time out
